"Not so hard." My coach, Blaine was scolding me for punching the punching bag too hard. I looked up at him and rolled my eyes. "At least save it for the ring." I stopped punching and straightened my posture. "Fine." I grabbed the water bottle on my right and sat down on the resting bench.

"You know, if you come in here and do that you'll mess up all of our equipment. Think about it, it'll be a hole in everything." He laughed to himself and sat down on the bench with me. "Who am I going up against next?" I put the water bottle up to my mouth and gulp down the cool liquid.

"Janie S. You know, the tall blonde who thinks she can beat everyone." I scoff. "Yeah, I know that one from personal experience."

I take another round of water and get back up. "Well, tell her I look forward to smashing her face in." I give a smirk. "At least I think that'll bump down her ego." I shrug. "Maybe she'll bump down yours." He mumbles and I punch him on the shoulder, giving him a sly look. This time it was him rolling his eyes. "Just make sure you get a good night's rest and eat right. That fight is your next big thing."

"Okay." I grab my bag and went into the changing rooms. I changed out of my fighting clothes and put on some regular jeans and a band tee.

I exit the changing rooms and head for the hatch to get out of here. I've had enough for one day.

"Hey, did you hear about Monster? He's coming into town!" I overhear some bulky guys talking while I'm about to twist the handle. "Yeah I heard he was the best fighter out there!"

I roll my eyes and continue on with what I was doing, no longer interested in what they were talking about.

They were discussing another fighter from another country. Everyone describes him as 'Monster' mainly because he's supposedly never lost a fight before.

I scoff and head to my car.

Now I know one thing and that one thing is no fighter has ever won every single fight. But it turns out some people don't even care about people's failures, not if the achievements outweigh it.

I snap out of my train of thought and turn on the car, going home.

Once I'm in my apartment, I set my stuff down and head over to the fridge.

Deciding that I need to go to the grocery store, I grab my keys and head on over there.

I grab a few things from the crowded store and head to the cash register to pay.

I look around since there is basically nothing else I can do in this line with four more people in front of me.

Suddenly, I feel a light tap on my lower left thigh and quickly turn around to see what it was.

It was a little girl with big pearly green eyes, short jet black hair, a bunch of freckles, and to be honest, she was quite stylish.

"Yes?" I asked her, trying to get a better grip on my groceries.

"Can chu hewp me find me brofer?" I was suddenly surprised by her accent, which sounded a little slurred, making it kind of sound like Spanish.

"Uh," unsure of what to say or do, I looked ahead of how many people were in front of me. "Ma'am can you please hurry up?" The cashier said in a very rude and irritated voice. I roll my eyes at her foolish behavior.

"Sure." I agree to help the girl.

I quickly step out of line and turn to the girl who was kind of getting lost in all of the people. I throw all of my things in a random empty basket and grab the girl's hand.

"What's your name?" I ask her, the words rolling off my tongue.

"Joanna." She looks at me with desperate eyes. My heart couldn't help but to melt.

Hey, I'm a completely different person inside of the ring, don't blame me.

"Okay, uh what does your brother look like?" She looks around. "Like that." She points to a very tall guy, back facing us.

The girl beside him turned around and took the tall boy's hand, violently turning him around.

From what I could see of the boy, he was very angry. That didn't stop Joanna from running into his legs, giving them hugs. The tall boy quickly got on one knee and hugged her.

The girl was smiling at the sight of it but soon looked up to me. She said something to the boy on one knee and he looked up at me. Her feet started to move towards me and me being the awkward person I am, I quickly turned around, sprinting to the exit.

At this point I didn't care if I was embarrassing myself in front if people I didn't know. What did embarrass me was the fact that I was caught staring at the sight of them hugging too, and that didn't help the fact that I didn't get my food.

Once I got home I decided to order takeout instead.

I can just run it all off tomorrow anyway. I shrug and hop on the sofa, turning on the television.

Right now though, I'll just sit back and watch some Family Feud.
