Ugh another day of school. I spend most of my life at my High school. Lincoln High isn't that bad, all the teachers are nice, the foods decent, it's all the bully's I have a problem with.
I get in fights all the time because people call me a freak. I don't start them, but I always finish them. I even beat up the schools courter back. For a football player he's not that strong.
"Ew I forgot the freak was back from her suspension today. I'm surprised Ms. Bulinski even let her back" scoffed Amanda.
"You want me suspended again?" Amanda nodded as I put down my things and put up my fists. "Then come fight me! Come on, I'll even give you the first shot!''
"Ew, as if, I'll just have Nick beat you up for me," she snorted and turned, her short shorts looking more like Jean underwear.
"You need to learn to fight your own battles! Nick can't do everything for you!" I yelled back at her at she walked in to the school building along with her boyfriend Nick and her group of friends.
''I don't get why she hates you so much, all you did to her was... Did you ever even do anything to her to make her so angry with you? If you did it must have been a really long time ago," Asked Riley, my best (and only) friend.
"Jeez Ry, ya scared me, ever heard of not sneaking up on people? But, to answer your question, I don't think I ever even did anything to her. Maybe I accidentally sat in her seat at story time in pre-k and she's still mad at me for it? I can't think of anything I did to her as long as I can remember she's hated me," I thought on this a moment longer before the bell rang, yet still I couldn't of why she hated me.
RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING
"Yeah I guess you're right, anyway we better get to class, that was the second bell. If we don't get there soon we might get in trouble. Again,"
"Yeah I guess. Oh, by the way, my schedule was changed again so I have science first period instead of social studies with you," I remember that at the beginning of the year I had science first but was soon changed to social studies with Riley. That lasted up until now.
Riley jogged off to class while I stayed a little longer watching all the freshmen try to run to class, still slightly new at the whole High School thing. I remember being that kid, except I was the one labeled a freak because I saw things they didn't. Things that would make them pee their pants if they saw. I walked over to the big oak tree in the court yard and climbed up its branches high enough until only someone looking could see me. I thought for about how I saw things and about what Dr. Professional had said before I was out of time. I thought on and on about it for what felt like three periods but in reality was probably only five or ten minutes, I thought until my thoughts were interrupted by a sharp cough that could only belong too-
"Ms. Conye, may I remind you that you have been released of your suspension and that you should be in class at this time? This school does not tolerate children that skip classes, you are very lucky that we have allowed you to stay here after so many detentions and suspensions all ready. So, I would like to assume that you have a pass to be out here, in which case I will need to speak with your teacher about letting our, um, more troubled students to leave class and climb the oak tree in the yard," For a moment neither of us talked, I could see that she was starting to get annoyed. "For heavens sake child come down from there! Not only are you skipping your classes but you are also not exhibiting any manners in staying up so high," Ms. Bulinski was beginning to shout and I didn't feel like trouble, so I climbed from my branch and came face to face with the Principle.
