PRO-LOG
starred at my math test. my eyes hurt from looking at the white paper, my head hurt from thinking so much. my mind wandered off into old memories, good ones. I thought to myself
" a lot had happened in four years. I have the boy of my dreams, I have a best friend, I made it to high school and I have really caught up on my school work.... but seven years ago was the worst time of my life."
I looked up at my teacher with a blank expression. there was five minutes left in class so I wasn't going to finish. I kept starring at my half finished paper until the bell rang. I handed in my paper and left. when I got home I sat down and started righting about my life, what had happened, how I felt , stuff like that. this is the story of my life starting from when I was eight.
CHAPTER 1.
I woke up to the sound of my moms soft voice.
"good morning sweetie"!
I opened my brown heavy eyes and saw my moms beautiful, pale face. her eyes where blue and her hair was long and blond. she didn't look forty, she looked like she was seven-teen. she was a very beautiful person and very loving. she cared for everyone.
"happy birth day!"
she pulled out a wrapped gift and handed it to me. it was blue my favorite colour! I slowly unwrapped the gift so I wouldn't ruin the blue, shiny wrapping paper. when I saw what she had given to me, I was clueless about what it was. it was some kind of box. when I flipped open the small black box it had a beautiful crystal hart in it. the hart was a nice sky blue colour. I took it out of the box and held it up. it was so shiny and beautiful. my mom took it from my hands, turned me around and put it on me.
"thank you so much mom!"
I gave her the biggest smile ever and hugged her. she smiled back at me with her pretty, white teeth. she picked me up off my bed and carried me down the stairs. she put me down and I saw my dad. I ran to him.
"good morning dad!"
I wrapped my arms around his skinny waist. he bent down to give me a kiss on the head.
"good morning my baby girl happy birthday! how old are you turning? eight-teen?"
I shook my head and laughed
"I'm turning eight dad!"
we both laughed. I ran to the table to find he had made pancakes, my favorite food! I picked up my fork and started cutting the pancake into little tiny pieces. I took a big bite and started chewing. I could taste the sweetness. it wasn't too sweet but it was a perfect sweet. I picked up my glass of milk and chugged what was left in it.
"I'm going to go get dressed!"
I ran up the stairs, opened my door and slipped on some sweats and a t-shirt. I ran down the cold, squeaky stairs and put on my DC shoes.
"okay mom I'm leaving now!"
I grabbed my back pack and opened the door.
"okay bye, love you, have a good day at school."
"okay bye, love you guys to!"
I shut the door and left for the school bus. it wasn't a far walk, it was only down the street at the next bus stop, I could already see it from my window. it was so nice out today, the sun was beating down on my face but I was still cold for some reason. I always am. I came to the bus stop and saw my friend Aaron standing there waiting for the bus. we both waved to each other and I ran over to him.
"hey Alice! how are you!?"
I gave him a warm smile and he gave me one back.
"im good! what about you?."
"are you ready for the beep test!?"
I looked at him with a blank expression trying to remember if he was actually right about us having a beep test that day. yesterday was all a blur to me. I finally remembered when the yellow bus came to a stop right next to us with a few other younger people.
"oh yeah for sure!"
I loved beep tests because I can see how much better I was from last time. im a big athletic person. Aaron and I sat beside each other in the very back of the bus where the cool kids sat. we get bullied a lot by them but most of the time we ignore them.
"hello losers!"
on of them laughed. we both just ignored them and kept talking.
"so what did your mom get you for your birth day!?"
I grabbed the silver chain around my neck and pulled up the blue, crystal hart necklace.
"wow that so nice!"
he got a closer look. but then he turned to his back pack and pulled a card out. it was hand made and it only said "happy b day Alice!" on it. I opened the boring looking card and twenty dollars slid out from the bottom of the card. I picked up the money and put it in my bag.
"thanks bro!"
I gave him a hug and a fist bump. we both smiled at each other.
the bus came to a stop and I put my blue back pack on my shoulders. I slowly started to get up when Dakota pushed me back into my seat. I gave him a glair and got back up. he didn't see me glair at him but I wanted him to so bad, I wasn't going to do anything though, I don't like to cause trouble. I jumped off the last step on the bus. I ran towards the doors we go into every morning. I saw my two best friends Mable and Sade. I waved and ran to them. I gave both of them a big long hug.
"hey alice happy birth day!"
they both said in sync. I giggled a little bit.
"thanks girls!"
they both pulled two friendship bracelets from their pockets and handed one to me. they helped me put them on. I gave them another big hug and the bell rang. we picked up our back packs and went inside.
