Well I'm going to start this off.

I'm Veronica. I'm 17, and I don't know who I am. I guess I'm like a balloon.. Floating in midair but no one knows where it'll land. My mom and dad are together because of me. But they don't really want to be together anymore. They're like strangers living together. I have a brother named Austin who had been taking care of everything but unfortunately he left to the university or something. But he probably left to get away from here. It feels like a living hell everyday. To be honest, I always escape from home to get away or do something to get my mind of everything. I haven't got anything to lose anymore. But enough of that. Well I'm a Sophomore at school. I have a few friends honestly. I'm not socially active I guess. But I mean I'm fine actually. Loner as always.

I woke up to the sound of arguing coming from downstairs. I shook my head in annoyance as I covered my face with my pillow. I got up and grabbed my skinny blue jeans, my black sleeveless Nirvana shirt, and my black combat boots. I changed and combed my blue hair. I straightened it as I put eyeliner on. I grabbed my phone and my bag as I went downstairs. I grabbed my house keys and glared at my parents. "Mother.." I said as she continue arguing. "Father.." I said as he ignored me as well. I grabbed my old family picture, and dropped it. The glass broke and the picture fell on the bed of broken glass. My parents stopped and quickly turned to look at me. "Wonderful." I said stepping over the glass and the picture while walking out the door. "Veronica!" Anya said as I looked at her. "What are you doing here?" I asked as she smiled and hugged me tightly as I did so. "Aren't you happy? My parents let me stay!" She squealed happily as I nodded. "Veronica, what's wrong? Is it your parents?" She questioned me as I nodded annoyed. "As always." I mumbled walking with her to school. I walked and saw Jordan sitting on the steps listening to music. Anya ran over to her as I walked away. I saw Jake on his laptop as he looked up at me. He smiled and waved as I did the same. I continued walking until I found Eli sitting down on the bench as he used his phone. I sat next to him and took his phone away from him quickly. "Hm..." I said as I looked at him. He smiled taking off his headphones. Eli and I have known eachother for about I think.... A month and a half now. Before, we rarely even got along. We never actually looked at eachother or anything... Ironic.

"What brings you here?" He asked me. "What? I can't hang with you?" I asked him. He smiled looking down. I looked at his phone. He had been searching up something but I think I did something.

"Elijah Goldsworthy,, what were you looking at?" I said in motherly voice as he chuckled at me. I smiled and waited for his response

"I don't think it's any of your business." He said taking the phone away from my grip.

"Well then." I said as he smiled at me.

"Got anything today?" He asked me.

"Yeah. I think I do...." I smiled as he smirked.
