My first game since I joined the team.  The scores at 30 to 32 and were losing. Harley's standing in the stands cheering me on 2 seconds left on the clock. Dribble, dribble ,run come on ,come on and I shoot. I made it the crowds goes wild. Overtime is coming we get a break. Harley comes down from the stands and pulls me into a sweaty embrace. " I knew you could do it" he whispers softly in my ear.

Overtime starts and the  clocks on 6 minutes. We need to win this game it may be our first but that doesn't matter we are up against the best team ever no one has ever beat them. The only thing on my mind is steal the ball make you're shots don't miss. I'm the youngest on the team the only ninth grader so I feel the pressure.

Score 40 to 44 were losing. Logan stole the ball she shot she scored. Yes 42 to 44 we were catching up. The clock read 2 minutes we still had time to win. No one makes a shot for the next minute it's getting close 23 seconds on the clock and I steal the ball I'm running I have to make this shot 10 seconds on the clock the crowd starts chanting "Daisy, Daisy, Daisy." Come on ,come on I shoot and it swirls around the basket and it..  It goes in the crowd goes wild. We won! We won 45 to 44 close game but we won.

Harley runs down from the stands. He reaches me brings me in for a hug and kisses me he says, " Daisy I knew you could do it you where a star out there." I blush and the team comes to rescue me they put me on there shoulders and shouted my name over and over again. We won ,the shock was still there I couldn't believe we did it wow it felt so good to beat a team known as one of the best actually the best. But now we were the best and it feels so good.

Logan and I have been best friends ever since third grade when I moved here from Washington and we just made a connection. I loved Washington but it's nothing compared to  New York. The school I go to is huge and day to day I always see something new or different. Living here for 7 years I've learned to call this place home. I don't have a mom shed died giving birth so my dad raised me. I would say he's done a pretty good job though.
