"I really hope that Brandon goes to the party this weekend. He wouldn't be able to keep his eyes off me in this dress!" Lexi held up a strapless, pink dress that was extremely short. I laughed as she looked at the price tag, considering if she should buy it or not. "You know, Hayley, this party would be a GREAT place to hook up with Ian," she explained. Lexi winked at me and I rolled my eyes.
Ian was my boyfriend of 2 years. We had started dating at the same party that all of the students from Greenwood High School attended. It was an annual party that our private school held, which was supposed to 'introduce students to their classmates' in a social way. Well, most of the time, people got a little too close. It was chaperoned only by parent volunteers, so students got away with pretty much everything. Ian was a really nice guy... with a really nice body. He was a rep soccer player, so he was extremely fit and very toned. He had tan skin and sun-bleached blonde hair, and his dad had money to burn. Ian lived in an enormous house, which he practically had to himself, because he had no siblings and his dad was away on business very often.
I skimmed through the several racks at Andrea's, the high-end dress store that my two best friends and I always shopped at. The dresses were all very expensive and very beautiful, which was a must when being the most popular girl at your school. I don't mean to be conceited, but that's just what I am! It just kind of happened when I started dating Ian. Popularity comes with wealth. However, my family isn't all that rich. Sure, compared to the rest of the world, we had buckets of money, but compared to other families in Greenwood, we were just about average.
"Hey H, how about this dress?" One of my best friends, Nicole, held up a skin tight black dress, covered in sequins. I nodded and gave her a look of approval. Nicole was the 'sweetheart' of Greenwood. She was very pale and thin, with waist length red hair, and tons of freckles. She was average height, but on the shorter side. Her family was about the same wealth as mine, and everyone knew her as the nicest girl in the world. On the other hand, my other bestie, Alexandra (everyone called her Lexi) was very tall, with perfect wavy, long blonde hair, a perfect body, blue eyes, and fair, procelain-like skin. Everyone called her Barbie, because of how pretty she was. She was basically a walking barbie! Her prima-ballerina body helped immensely.
As my two friends were trying on bunches of dresses in the change rooms, I hadn't found anything that interested me. That was, until I walked to the very back of the store, and found the most perfect party dress ever. It was a white, fitted dress that had no straps, and was rouched all down the sides. But the best part, was that the back was just above my bum. It was competely open, and completely perfect for the occasion. Ian was going to be all over me!

I opened the door to the party hall and walked inside, Nicole and Lexi following closely behind me. I groaned in pain, because my feet had already started hurting from the 5 inch, cobalt blue studded wedges I was wearing. I was already 5'9", so I was much taller than most of the people at the party. I looked around me, and immediately caught Ian's eye. I motioned to the girls that I was going to talk to him, so we all parted in different directions. I strutted over to Ian, looking at him seductively.
"Hey beautiful," Ian winked at me and I smirked. "You look hot."
"Thanks babe. Like the dress?" I leaned in closer to his face, and I could hear him breathing heavily.
"Of course. But I'd like you more without it on." I laughed at his comment, and he pulled me into a kiss. "Want a drink?"
"Sure, thanks." I smiled at him as he pulled away and walked towards the drink table.

"CHUG, CHUG, CHUG!" I heard people yelling at me, as I gulped down the last of the vodka. My head was pounding, but the adrenaline kept me going. I raised the empty bottle in the air and people cheered me on.
