My life with Emilys Army

The fact of moving creeps me out because I will go to a new school, make new friends, and be the new kid. So I woke up and just laid in my bed for a couple of minutes thinking of different things.

So I decided to get up and get dressed, but before I get up I have to play Emily's Army and Green Day to get my day going. I get dress and finish packing my things.

Thinking while packing maybe it wouldn't be that bad moving to Oakland. I have always wanted to go to Gilman Street. While packing up my CDs I sit and think what if I meet EA at my new school?

When I got done packing I put all my stuff in the car and put my headphones in. I knew that would make me feel better. When we got to Oakland I feel in love with the city, it was so beautiful.

When we arrive at my new house I walk in my room, and it's painted purple which is my favorite color:) The first thing I do is put up my band posters.

Just the thought of waking up the next morning to a new school made me nervous and sick feeling. When I get done with everything I decided to relax and put my headphones in.

While I was listening to music I fell a sleep, and next thing I know it's time to get up and go to school. I decided to wear my Emily's Army shirt and some black jeans and my converses.

When I arrive at school, I got my schedule and went straight to my classes, I didn't want to be late on my first day of a new school.

When I walk into Science class, everyone stares at me and I heard whispering. So I walked up to the teacher and said "Hi I'm Kendra, I'm the new student, where should I sit?"

The teacher pointed me to a empty seat and it's beside a blonde headed boy, I was super nervous. I walked up to the seat and said "Hi I'm Kendra, what's your name?" And the boy turned around and said "My name is Cole, I love the name Kendra it sounds so awesome!" I'm like this is Cole Freaking Becker, Do I freak out or act normal?"

I said "aww thanks". He looks at my shirt and says "nice shirt" I laugh and say "thanks". When class was over Cole walked up to me and asked "Can I help you find your classes?" I said "sure that would help alot"

He said "Well it looks like we have all the same classes" I got all excited. Cole said "In all the classes I will tell the teacher to let you seat beside me, you don't have nothing to worry about"

When school was over I walked home, and I hear someone be hide me scream "Kendra!" I turned around and it was Cole. He said "Can I walk you home?" I said "sure I would love that" but on the inside I was dying.

When we got to where I live Cole says "We live in the same neighbor hood" I show him where I live. He said "And we live beside each other to" I so freaking excited and happy.

He asked "would you like to come over later and watch us brand practice?" I said "I would love to come over" He said "Can you come around 6?" I said "Of course"

I walk into my house and my mom asks "How did your day go" and I told her I met Cole Becker. And she said "aww did you really, are you guys a couple?" And I was like "MOM". Something to me not to tell her that.

I asked her "He wants me to go over at 6 to watch them practice can I go?" She said "I don't see why not!"

When I go to my room I look out my window I see a note. And it has Coles number on it. The note said "text me".

So I texted his number and said

Me- Is this Cole?

Cole- Hey Kendra

Me- Yay it's you:)

Cole- Are you still coming over later?

Me- I am totally coming over, if you don't mind:)

Cole- I would love for you to come over.

Me- aww thanks:)

Cole- I know this is awkward but Travis wants to know will you bring some pizza.

Me- Sure I would love to:)

Cole- Great see you at six

I'm totally freaking out at this point. So it 5:30 I run to town to get a pizza. And then I go to their house. Travis said "thanks for bringing me a pizza" I said "No problem:)

Cole runs up to me and grabs my hand and tells everyone who I am. He says " This is Kendra, she is amazing." Max said "Hi Kendra, you seem like a cool girl" I blush at his comment. Joey says Hey Kendra, How are you?" I answer back "I'm doing great, you? Joey said "I'm doing great"

Joey says "When are we going to my house?" Cole pulls me aside and tells me "I know you're a fan of Green Day, but don't freak out when you see them, because Joey has a lot of problems with people using him just to get to Billie, Mike, and Tre.

I say "Oh that has to suck, I won't freak out I promise" When we arrive at Joey's house it's so beautiful and big. Adrienne walks up to me and asks "Who is this lovely lady boys?" Joey says "This is Coles..." Cole says "friend" and winks at me. Adrienne says I know everything about that and I just laugh.

When we go upstairs to the band room they begin to play and I start blushing and the whole time Cole is looking at me:) Then all of a sudden someone busts through the door. And it's freaking Green Day. Cole looks at me in a sad way and I remember what he told me.

Billie walks up to me and said "You must be Kendra, Coles girlfriend" me and Cole blushes. I said "no I'm not his girlfriend, I'm just a friend" Mike says "I heard the whole story between you two" and everyone starts to laugh.

Tre says we are going to be in the next room practicing if you need us" they walk out. And Cole comes up to me and whispers in my ear "Thank you for not acting all crazy" and we both laugh:)

Max said "Don't be talking dirty over there you two"

Later that night Coles asks "We all are spending the night here, can you stay to?" He was smiling so big. I called my mom and she said "it's ok, just call me if you need me.

I told him I could and he smiled the biggest I have ever seen it made me blush.

We all rented a movie, we all wanted to watch Step Brothers, and all of sudden Max, Cole, Travis, Joey, and Billie starts singing. Me and Adrienne looks at each other and start laughing.

She asked me "Do you need some pjs?" I said "Yes Ms. Adrienne" she walked me up stairs and gave me some pjs and for some reason she fixed my hair.

When I walked down the stairs Cole, Max, Joey, and Travis was looking at me. Cole ran up to me and said "you are so beautiful" I blushed and said "You're are cutie yourself" and everyone said "awww"
