DREAM
The first time I ever saw his face,
It seems the whole world stops to glisten
The first time I ever saw his smile,
It made my heart to skip a beat
He came to me and asked for my name
As I answered, I gave my sweetest smile
We have shared some smiles and laughters
Starting that day, beautiful story of friendship unfold
Our friendship continued to grow each day
He became my bestfriend and I became his
We shared secrets, stories and dreams
We also shared laughters and tears, success and failures
It was a very special day for me
He told me he has something to say
I was excited waiting for him at the mall
But when I saw him, my heart broke into pieces
He was walking, holding hands with a girl
Tears fell down from my eyes, I was hurt
As he came near me, he told me 'best, meet my one true love'
Eventhough it hurts, I forced a smile and say 'best, I'm so happy for you'
As I walked home alone, I can't help but cry
Eight years of waiting finally came to an end
After eight years of dreaming to be his love, I now need to wake up
I never felt this empty and lonely before
But that's life, he will never be mine and it hurts me badly.
