A kiss is what I long for,
For him to live is what I want more.
Staying up shedding my uncontrollable tears,
Loosing him was one of my greatest fears.
Being a soldier's girl is easy they say,
But no, without him I can't live a day.
Holding his dog-tag close to my chest,
All I can do is pray and hope for the best.
Seeing him walking towards the gate away from me.
I whispered: "Be safe, hurry back to me."
My feet ran to his direction and seal his lips a kiss.
I will be waiting for him... Semper Fidelis !
