The Bionic Family

The day it happened

My dad is an Italian geologist who loved to travel the world. One day he traveled to Kailua, Hawaii where he met my mother who at the time was an intern at a local engineering company. They fell madly in love and got married after 6 months together .Dad said it was love at first sight and Mom said it was more like love at 30th sight. My parents traveled the world together but decided to settle down back in my father's hometown Venice,Italy when mom became pregnant with my brother Vito.

Soon followed my twin sisters Lino & Manu, Myself (nyx) and my youngest brother blu. We had the closest bond known to siblings. Since our mother homeschooled us we never really go out to socialize. But we were ok with that because most of them called us weird anyway. We'd play together, sing together , dance , but our favorite thing to do was exploring.

One day we went exploring through this old abandoned house we had found. One second it sunny then the next thing you knew all you could see was smoke. The building was on fire we tried to escape but we were trapped. After that day Vito should have been blind, the twins should have been burnt forever, blu should have been crippled and me dead. But instead we all were healed and better than ever.

Our mom told us that we weren't all the way human anymore. When we were born we each had bionics installed into our necks. She never activated them because they were only to be activated in a life or death situation. When activated it healed our body's instantly, and became our new source of life. But with that chip came amazing abilities.
We each have one to begin with and the rest were to be discovered when the time comes.

Blu can geo-leap, Vito super human smarts, Lino supper speed, Manu has the ability to manipulate electricity, and I have superhuman strength . We ended up moving to mom's home town where we trained our abilities. We knew keeping this a secret would inevitably come back and bite us so we let it be known. Everyone went wild and we were known as the "Bionic Family" and started to help the government in serious missions.

After 8 years we moved to Galveston, Texas and mom had Luna my baby sister. Now Vito's 20, the twins are 19, I'm 17 , Blu is 15 and Luna is 5. The fame over us being bionic has calmed down and were like a regular family again. We still train and go on missions but besides that we live a pretty normal life. Were all just kids trying to make a name for themselves and that's how it should be.
