I'm just a girl,
A girl in love,
A girl that knows what she wants,
Is just out of reach.
I'm just a girl.
A girl that is smart.
A girl that knows what she knows,
Is just not enough.
I'm just a girl,
A girl with friends.
A girl that knows her friends,
Will be there 'til the end.
I'm just a girl,
A girl that is a daughter,
A girl that knows her parents are amazing,
and wants to fill her mother's shoes.
I'm just a girl.
A girl that isn't perfect,
A girl that knows she doesn't want to be perfect,
and would rather be covered in dirt than be in a skirt.
I'm just a girl,
A girl that's stuck in life.
A girl that knows everything will turn out alright,
and wants the rest of the world to know,
She's just a girl.
