Chpt 18: Pictures Worth A Thousand Words

Probably misspelled a word in the chapter title..oh well Enjoy :) I'm probably gonna have two more chapters in this story then ill be done :)

Justin

I sat up, confused. Was she mad or using sarcasim? I decided instead of just texting back, I called.

"Hello?" Lynn answered. She didn't seem pissed.

"Hey." I said. "Umm..I got your text..."

"And?" Lynn asked.

"What made you think I was on a date with Selena?" I asked. 

"It's the top story in the paper." she said, her voice changing. Now she seemed pissed.

"I'm not." I said.

"A pictures worth a thousand words, justin." she said. "and the only words I see in this one is Justins in love with Selena."

"Justin doesn't!" I said. "You know that."

"I know." Lynn said, her voice lowering. "I'm sorry. I'm just pissed off, is all. I never did like her."

I smiled. "Shes just a friend, Lynn. Nothing more."

Lynn paused. "A friend that likes you."

"What?" I asked.

"This artical says that Selena does like you."

My pulse quickened a bit. I did like Selena more than a friend before, but that was before I met Lynn. Could those old feelings still be there?

"Justin?" Lynn asked.

"Sorry." I said. "I was distracted by something." There was a noise on the other end of the line, and I heard Lynn laughing.

"Lynn?" I asked worried something happened. "Hello? Lynn!"

"Hey!" it was a voice I didn't recognize.

"Where's Lynn?" I asked.

"Next to me." the person said. "I'm Amber, Lynn's best friend."

"Oh." I said.

"I just wanted to say hi," she said. "My names Amber and I'll kick your ass if you hurt my Lynn."

"Umm.." I smiled. "Okay?"

"Don't believe me?" she asekd. "you just wait, Bieber."

"Give me the phone." I could hear Lynn's voice in the background.

"Bye!" amber yelled before handing the phone to Lynn.

"sorry about that." Lynn said. "Amber's been wanting to meet you."

"You should come visit." I said. "If you don't, I will."

"okay." she said. "I gotta go. Bye. Love you."

"Love you too, baby." I said, and the line died.

I sat back on my bed, and placed my phone next to my head. I smiled at the thought of Lynn coming to visit me.

I fell asleep, thinking of all the things we would have done.

Lynn

"I actually talked to him!" Amber said. She fell back on my bed, smiling. "My life is complete." I laughed.

"My life isn't." I said. "Not until I walk down that isle, and say I do."

"With justin at your side." Amber said. "And me as a flower girl/brides maid." she smiled. "I do look good in pink."

I laughed again.

"You think Justin likes Selena?" I asked, suddenly.

"Why?" Amber asked.

"Cause." I said. "When I told him Selena liked him, he didn't talk for a few minutes." Amber gave me a look.

"Girl your nuts." she said. "That guy loves you more than Selena."

I shrugged, and flopped on my bed next to Amber. "I guess so."

"You guess so?" Amber asked. "I know so."

"Thanks." I said, smiling.

"Any time."

Next Day

Amber stayed over, but had to leave that morning. I looked at my calendar. I was skipping school today since I didn't feel too good.

I decied to pick out a day I would go see Justin. I decided on this weekend. Amber was off of work, and I could get someone to cover me for Saturday, no biggie.

I called Amber, but went to voicemail.

"Hey Amber. This weekend, I'm gonna go see Justin. You wanna come? Course you do. See ya Friday." I hung up.

A minute later, I got a text message from Amber.

Count me in! :D
