When she cries at night, don't think for a seconf that it was because of someone else.

Don't believe in what she tells you about her fights with me at school;

Believe in the most powerful and true thing she's ever told you.

On that one night, when she jumped out her window only to run into your arms, she risked everything she had with her parents. She risked their amount of trust and their love. It's not easy being adopted, you know.

When she ran into your arms and wept, she was weeping for one thing: your love. How you couldn't say anything after her pleading whisper.

She had the courage to tell you.

She said it, on that very night, where you held her in the pouring rain.

"I still love you."

And there it is: the truth, plain and clear.

And you have nothing to say.

The truth was told and you stood there dumbfounded.

I hope you're happy now.
