My name is Tanya and my mothers  boyfriend always beats me. My mother is Rachel she never does anything when he hits me. I honeslty hate my life and sometimes wish i was never born.

Tanya

Soon as I came home I hope he wasn't here. I went in my room and went to sleep for a little while. I woke up to somebody punching me hard in my stomach. It was HIM. He kept hitting me in my face and my stomach. I finally screamed for my mother and she came but only thing she did was watch. He finally got tired and left,I asked my mother why she didn't do nothing. She said because she love him.

Chloe

What happened to you Tanya. I asked Tanya one more time but she didn't answer. I never saw my bestfriend act like this we knew each other since we were 5. She would tell me everything until her mother got a new boyfriend named Joe.We walked into school and the whole day Tanya was quiet. I kept trying to talk to her but all she would do is look at me and cry. I knew something was wrong with my bestfriend!

Rachel

Joe! Why do you keep hurting my daughter. You give her all your attention and you barley talk to me. Do you still love me or do you love my daughter? He told me that he had lost interest in me. When I told him to get out he told me to shut up and get out of his way. After that we saw Tanya walk in. Joe had this big smile on his face and Tanya took off running to her room. I can't take this anymore.

Tanya

Soon as I walked in the house I saw my mother Rachel and Joe. He just smiled at me so I got scared and ran to my room. I locked the door behind me. All I started to hear was pounding on the door. It was Joe. He finally kicked down the door. His face was red and he started to slap me harder and harder. I fell off my bed and he kicked me three times. After that it went dark. I woke up in the Hospital. The doctor had came in.

Hello Tanya, He said.

My name is Mr.Eddy.

I asked him how I got here and he told me some people found me on the sidewalk. I just started crying hard.

Mr.Eddy

Tanya you have several broken ribs and a broken nose. Do you know who did this to you? Tanya started crying and shook her head yes. She told me it was her mother boyfriend Joe. I was shocked because Joe was a good friend of mines.

Rachel

Joe! Can we go see Tanya they said she is not dead. I can't believe that I left my baby girl on the sidewalk left to die. I hated her cause she took my man away from me. But I didn't want her to end up in the hospital. I feel real bad. Joe came into the room.

Joe

Yes we can go see her but you better not tell anybody I did this to her. If you do then you will end up without a man. We got in the car and started driving and it took us 10 minutes to get to the hospital. We walked in and told the lady at the front desk our names.

Tanya

The door opened and I saw Rachel & Joe walk in. I started yelling! GET OUT! GET OUT! Joe came over to me and told me to shut up and he slapped me. I immediately pushed the nurses button on the phone beside me. The nurses rushed in.

What going on? The nurse said as she saw Joe hit me. She called security and they asked me what happened and I told them that Joe did all of this to me. They arrested Joe and my mother for child neglect. Mr. Eddy ran in and asked if I was okay. I told him yeah.

Chloe

I asked my mom is Tanya could stay with us she said, Yes. I was so happy.

The next day we went to go get Tanya. She had a key to her house. So we went there to get her stuff. Rachel was out of jail and when she saw Tanya she tried to hug her but Tanya ran. Me and my mom helped Tanya pack all of her stuff. We took her clothes, shoes, and tv. We made like 11 trips to the car and back. Rachel tried to talk to my momma but my momma wouldn't let her. After we got all of Tanya stuff we left.

Tanya

I was so happy that I was living with Chloe and Ms. Simpson. But she told me that I can call her mom. It was a week before our school break was over. I was excited to go back to school I missed everybody specially this boy name Byron.!

*One Week Later*

Me and Chloe walked to our lockers. I was happy to see everybody at school. I felt somebody tap me I thought it was Chloe but she was standing next to me. I turn around and it's Byron.

Hi Byron, I say

Hey Tanya I missed you.

I just thought in my head I liked Byron since we was in kindergarden ,but I never told him. And to hear that he missed me I was so happy. I told him I missed him to then walked to class. I ever wondered did he have a crush on me?

*Byron*

I had a crush on Tanya since kindergarden. But it seems like she doesn't like me. Maybe if I ask Chloe she would tell me. I hope she does like me cause I was go ask her to be my girlfriend. If me a Tanya go together she would be dating the biggest Kingpin in Atl!

*Tanya*

Schools almost over. So me and Chloe will be going to the mall and do a little shopping. I wonder if Byron can come with us.

Hey Byron would you like to go to the mall with us, I asked

Yea sure why not. Who car are we taking mines or Chloe's.

We are taking Chloe's. We will pick you up at 5.

*Few Hours Later

Tanya

We picked Byron up and we're on our way to the mall. This is like me and Byron first date in my mind lol. I should tell him that I like him now. But what if he don't feel the same.

Chloe

I'm about to go walk around. Tanya how about you and Byron talk and shop. I knew that Tanya and Byron like each other that's why I said that. I'm a good bestfriend. I need to find me a man since Tanya already got hers lmao. They would be like the power couple in school unbreakable.
