Chapter 3..... Meeting

Klaus

I walked down the street in a parade with Marcel next to me "so who are we celebrating" I asked "oh just an old friend" Marcel said. "What happen" I asked "he broke my rules" Marcel said walking ahead of me.

"Marcel's rules, how does he know when they're broken, what secret weapon does he passes that gives him control over the witches and the town. If I had to claim his throne, what must I take from him" I thought.

I walked into the house and heard a noise coming from up stairs I ran upstairs and looked around I stopped when I hit a room. I walked in a little bit "hello Elijah" I said with a smile and turned around to see Elijah standing there "hello brother" Elijah said.

"Why are you here" I asked "to bring my brother back and find out why you're here" I sighed why did he always have to get in the way. "I see you found Stat" I looked up from the ground "you saw her" I asked "yes two vampires hit her car, her boyfriend is dead".

I smiled in my head wondering if she killed him or if vampires really did kill him "let me help you" "I work better alone" I said and started to walk out of the room. "Klaus we need him" I turned around and saw Star standing there with her arms folded across her chest.

"We, there's no we in this" I said and walked out of the room and heard them follow me "Klaus we're here to help you". I turned around "no, you just don't have anywhere to stay so you think I'm going to let you stay here, wrong". Elijah stopped me "this is our home and we are family, I will help you get our family back".

I stared at him for a second "fine" I turned around and there stood Marcel "whats this a family get together". He pointed to Elijah "Elijah right, long time no see" then he looked at Star, then back at me "I see you didn't take care of her, Star, right" he said.

Star

I slowly turned around to go upstairs but there stood a vampire and held me in his arms, tight. "You do one more thing that I don't like again, someone will get hurt" Marcel said to Klaus and walked up to him "but I'm a reasonable man, so I'll just give you a warning this time".

I felt a knife stab into my side and felt the vampire release me. Klaus turned around and right as I was falling Elijah caught me. Klaus looked back at Marcel "I'm not the prince, I'm the king, and you're in my town now, get use to it" Marcell said with a smile.

Marcel nodded his head and him and the vampire left. Klaus was about to follow him "Klaus don't" Elijah said hesitantly, Klaus staid. Elijah gave me his blood, I looked at Klaus who just stood there for a second then walked off slamming the door behind him.

I stood up and started to walk down the stairs "where are you going" Elijah asked me "to talk to him" "don't" he appeared in front of me. "I'll talk to him you go get some rest" I sighed "fine" I said and walked upstairs hearing the front door open and close know Elijah left and it was just me here.

I sat on a bed and laid down, my side still hurt but it wasn't the worst pain in the world and I could handle it. I closed my eyes and just thought for a second what was I going to do, stay or leave. I fell asleep shortly after thinking about Klaus and the first time I met him.

Flashback

I sat watching as this thing killed my parents and my sister then it looked at me showing its fangs and the blood that dripped off of them. I sat against the wall scared until it looked at me for a few more seconds then ran out.

I crawled over to my mom "mom, mom" I said shaking her but she wouldn't wake up. I felt tears roll down my face. "Its ok" I heard a guy say and I looked up and saw threw tears a tall guy who in the back of my head was sorta cute "let me help you". He held out his hand and I looked at it for a second but took it.

I stood up and we walked starting to walk out my front door, but before we got outside I turned around "what about my mom and dad and my sister" I asked. "We can't do anything for them" the strange guy said.

We walked out "what's your name" I asked him, he stopped and bent down looking at me "Klaus, don't worry Star you'll be safe with me".
