Mackenzie's POV
I drive down the road and see my parents, in a car chasing me. I drive as fast as I can but then a car runs into the side of my car and my car tumbles, glass is everywhere.
My parents run up to us and pull out a gun
Then shoot me in the head.

That's when I woke up in a hotel bed sweaty. I get up wash my face, brush my teeth, get dressed and put my hair in a high ponytail with a few loose hairs.
I grab the keys and leave the house, I'm going to look for a job because the hotels are expensive and I barely have enough money for two nights.
I turn on the radio and drive away I get to a nearby phone shop that's hiring, they didn't want me, I also checked a diner, cafe, icecream truck business, and all I had left was a small pizza place on the corner.
I walk in and decide to get Emily a pizza and coke I order it and sit at the table and wait. The door rings indicating a customer Is here and of course I look and it's Harry.
I just sit there wondering if he would notice me.
"Small pepperoni and small coke?" The cashier says looking around "oh that's me!" I yell, a little too loud and everyone looks at me, including Harry.
He hands me the pizza and I get up to leave but Harry comes up to me "Mackenzie, right" he says "yep, hello Harry" I say with a smile.
He sits down in the chair in front of me. "So, you never gave me your number" he says taking out his phone. Oh my gosh, what do I say! Quick Mackenzie!.
"Oh yeah my phone kinda broke, it um fell in a puddle" good, maybe he'll believe me.
"Are you just saying that because you don't want to give me your number? He says laughing
"no" I say
"So how come your sisters in the hospital?" He asks
"She fractured her leg at a park." I say
"Ouch, and how old is she?" He asks
"Five" I respond
"What hospital?" He asks
"Idk, the closest one here" I say
"So how come your asking so much about me, I'm a stranger" I say
"Nah, we're friends now" he says with a smile and I smile back
Harry's POV
I know this is in like every cheesy love movie but Mackenzie is different, she's not so open and I want to learn more about her.
Shes not like others who want you for fame. Or an obsessive fangirl although it's really cute at times.
"so I'm having a party tomorrow at my house, u want to come?" I ask her
"Oh no, sorry I have to watch my sister" she says
"Where's your parents?" I ask
"Uh, on a um their anniversary trip" she says
"Oh then your sister can come" I say desperately wanting to hang out with her
"Okay, I'll go but I have to give my sister this pizza before it gets cold" she says leaving before I could say anything. I didn't even tell her where I live.
Mackenzie's POV
He invited me to a party!? I want to go but can't, I have nothing to wear, not very social, and never been to one before.
Ugh. I'll just ask Emily and figure out the plan wait I forgot to ask for a job! Guess I'll do it later.

"Hey Emily, I got you pizza and a coke" I say walking in her room
"Yes!, gimme gimme gimme!" She says reaching for the pizza box
"okay, okay ,okay I say copying her and giving her the box and setting the coke on the side table
"So we got invited to a party that is tomorrow"I say taking a slice of pizza from the box
"But By who?" She asks confused
"Someone in OneDirection!" I say
"It's not nice to lie!" She says slapping me with a slice of pizza
"Eww, and I'm not lying!" I say wiping the pizza grease off with a napkin
"I'm still not going to believe you until we go and they have proof" she says crossing her arms
"Well okay" I say and then the doctor comes in "it's time for that cast" he says walking over and taking off the bandage "i think we're going to have to stitch this first" he says looking at the cut.
"Ok I'm going to wait out there"I say pointing to the door and walking out

They finished the stitching and put the cast on and were driving to the hotel.
"Where's his house, I bet it's huge!" She says looking out the window and that's when I remember Id forgotten to ask "crap, I forgot to ask im sorry" I say
"Now we're never going to see him again" she pouts
"We're here" I say pulling up into the hotel parking lot. We go inside and up to our room.
We watched Tv until we drifted off to sleep.
