Comfort beats Hurt (Gravity Falls short story)

Hugging helps.

It was a rainy night in the home of Wendy Corduroy. She was talking with her boyfriend on the phone, and are having an argument.

"Oh come on, it's not like I ment to do it Mark."

"Yeah, but you still did, and I can't forget that!"

"Okay, you know what I'm done, and so are we!"

She hangs up, and starts to cry on her bed. Her and her boyfriend were fighting about how all of Wendy's stunts got them in trouble. At first her boyfriend dealed with them, but now that his parents are fed up with him and ground him, his passions cross the line.

Wendy didn't mean to get them in trouble, but he didn't care, so Wendy stayed they way she was until she got a text from a close friend.

At the Mystery Shack the home of the Dipper Pines, was having trouble with his parents. They were visiting him and his sister, for Easter when they heard about all the things they gotten into during summer vacation. They were going at it with Dipper as Mabel stayed in the back ground.

"Dipper, you could have really gotten hurt by his 'adventures' you have!"

"Dad, I'm okay arn't I?!"

"Listen to your father Dipper, you are not going on these adventures anymore!"

"Mom no!"

"Go to your room now!"

Dipper ran up stairs and was really ticked off. Since Mabel was the one who didn't get yelled at, he thought she wouldn't be much help. So he turned to a close friend. He texted her to meet him on the roof of the shack.
15 minutes later, she came and went on the room, where Dipper told her to meet him at.

"Thanks for coming here Wendy, I really need some one to talk to."

"Yeah, me too."

"What's up with you Wendy?"

"My boyfriend and I broke up, and I need some comfort."

"What about you Dipper?"

"My parents and I had a fight about my adventures."

"I see."

"I just really need some comfort right now."

"Come here."

Dipper walked to her and she hugged him. He hugged back and sat on the roof. They continued to stay in each other's arms until the roof door opened. Dipper's parents saw him hugging Wendy, and didn't know who she was, but they stayed quite.

"Thank you for being here Wendy."

"Of course Dipper, I'll always be here if you need me."

"Same here."

The parents were at awe when they said that to each other. They two looked at Dipper's parents and blushed.

"Dipper, why didn't you tell us that you have a girlfriend?"

"Girlfriend? What are you... Oh no! No no no no no no!!! She is not my girlfriend!"

"She seems like she is son."

"Dad!"

"Oh, don't by shy Dipper."

"Mom!"

Wendy couldn't help but giggle at the display. When his parents finally left, they hugged again.

"Sorry about that."

"It's okay. It was funny."

"Oh brother."

She giggled again and hugging him one more time before finally heading home.
