Friend

Noun. A person whom one knows and with whom one has a bond of mutual affection.

A friend is someone who you get along with? So a best friend is someone who will always be there for you? Someone who will be there when you are feeling low. Someone that knows how to cheer you up. Someone knows how to have a laugh with you. Someone that knows every single aspect of you.

I had a best friend. Until I was 16 and that was the last time I saw him. One day here, the next day he was gone. I am now 20 and still miss him as much as the day I found out. His name was Nathan Sykes.

My name is Amber Moon. I have red/brown hair, a mix of blue and green eyes and I stand at 5ft 1". I am an only child and both my parents are lawyers. I am a co-founder of a very successful magazine. I have had clients from Hugh Jackman to Scarlett Johansson. The thing that makes it a good job though is I get to travel the world and all I need to do is book people for the magazine, review and make sure that it gets to the press and sometimes I get to write the odd article. So I really couldn't complain.

Everything was running smoothly until I got 1 e-mail, telling me who the next clients were.

Dear Miss Moon

This e-mail is to inform you that we have got popular boy band The Wanted for the front cover. It is asked if you could go to the shoot to organise the outset and so what to the theme of your choice. Just to brief you on the boys their names are Tom Parker, Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness and Nathan Sykes.

As soon as I saw that name it felt like I had a blow to the stomach. It hurt. A lot

You will need to be at the venue at about 10 to get everything set up, We all look forward to see what masterpiece you come up with!

Good Luck.

Yours,

H.Wilson

My heart beat was two times what it should be, I began to get awfully sweaty. I knew Nathan was in a band but I didn't know he became successful. Luckily I was at home during that moment, curled up on my couch watching whatever rubbish was on TV. I put my laptop on the glass coffee table in front of me and went and put the kettle on. A cup of tea was in need. I made my way out to my balcony looking over LA. The sight was absolutely stunning. It was so calm and peaceful.

My eyes slowly closed and my head hung low as I remember the week before he left without telling me.

*Flashback*

I woke up to the sun shining through the slits in my blinds. Even though the air was humid and the sun was out I was still wrapped up in my duvet in my onesie. I stretched out of the position I was in and rolled out of bed.

"Mum! Dad! You still home!?" I waited for a response. Ok then guessing the aren't in. I wondered down stairs and put the TV on. Just in time to catch the last of my main man. Jeremy Kyle. I went and made some toast and of course a cuppa and made my way back to the couch. I rested my feet on top of the mahogany table ling in the middle of the room just next my cup. My attention now fully on the TV. The title was "I'm 69 and she is 22 will this relationship work." This my people is the best of Britain. On stage was and old geezer with not teeth and looked like he hadn't had a wash in months and the girl looked like the re-incarnation of Vicky Polard. It was just getting excited cause we found out they both had cheated and she was preggers with god knows who's baby when the doorbell rang. I got out my comfy position to answer the door, I didn't expect anyone so it was a nice surprise. I opened the door to show my best friend of 15 years. Nathan. He was dressed in his sweats and t-short. He defiantly wasn't dressing to impress.
