Lexi's POV
Denise released me this morning and said I'm better and can go back to our house. I just have to be careful not to do too much running or stuff for a while. That won't be a problem.
I changed into the sweatpants and shirt carl brought me and put my hair in a messy bun. Ew. I really need a shower. Giving birth really wears you out huh?
"Ready? " Carl asked and i nodded. I picked up Andi and carl grabbed the crib and bag Denise gave us. I saw Denise and went up to her.
"Thank you so everything. You've helped me so much. Thank you Denise." I said and hugged her.
"Your welcome lexi. And if anything happens just come back. Oh and I'll probably need to do a check up on Andi every couple weeks or so." She said and i nodded.
We walked out and all eyes were on us. I smiled at everyone and no we began walking to our house. I saw Daryl getting ready to leave and no he walked up to us.
"I'm going on a run with Denise and Rosita. Just be careful. " he said and kissed my head along with Andi's. I smiled and nodded.
"You better watch over my sister and niece little boy. "Daryl said to Carl and i laughed.
"Always. "Carl answered and i blushed. Daryl left and we went to the house.
"Oh let me see the new member! "Carol exclaimed and ran over and i handed her Andi.
"Oh isn't she precious. Looks like her mother." She added. I smiled and told them I'm gonna go take a shower. I walked upstairs and went to the bathroom. I turned on the water and stripped from my clothes. I got in and felt the warm water flow down my body. I washed my hair and then my body. I got out and dried off then changed back into my clothes. I brushed my teeth and hair then walked into mine and Carl's room. I saw Carl setting up Andi's crib right next to our bed.
"Thanks babe." I said and kissed his cheek. He smiled and did pecked my lips.
" when you get well enough we should go on a run to get her some stuff. Carol or Maggie can watch her while we're gone. "He said and i agreed.
"Maybe bring Daryl with us. Shoot he won't take no for an answer." I said and he chuckled.
We walked downstairs and Carol gave me back a sleeping Andi.
"I found this in the back of my closet. Sit down and I'll take a picture." She said grabbing a Polaroid camera. Me and carl sat down on the couch and she took one of us smiling and then one of us looking and Andi. The printed out and she gave them to us. I smiled at my beautiful family and carl went upstairs to tape them to our wall of photos.
Andi soon woke up and started crying signaling that she was hungry. Carol made me a bottle and i fed her. I looked into her blue eyes and smiled. They were a beautiful blue like Carl's. Carl soon came down and smiled at us.
"Your turn dad." I said and he looked nervous.
"Calm down. It's just like feeding Judith. " i told him and he nodded. I sat Andi's head carefully on his arm and he did the rest. He took the bottle and fed it to her. This made me so happy. To finally be able to see my daughter and boyfriend together for one of the first times. It was the best moment.

About two hours later Daryl came back with Rosita, Abraham and Eugene. I walked up to Daryl with tears at the rims of my eyes.
"W - where's Denise?.." i asked as my lips started quivering.
"the prick that stole my bow and bike showed up. I didn't even see him. He shot her with my bow. I'm sorry lex." Daryl said and the tears poured out. I had just talked to her before they left. I mean i know we weren't that close but she was still my friend.
Well all perfects have to come to an end.
