Chapter five: "Over my dead body."

Dipper's (POV)

We heard the growling behind us and I froze in fear. I then felt a sharp pain in my back. I turned to see a wolf has bit me! Wendy gasped as she saw the blood go down my side. She did a deep growl and leaped to the wolf that bit me. She bit the wolf hard, and leaped in front of me to protect me. I shook in fear as Wendy fought off the other wolves. I then felt something around me. I looked to see a wolf has grabbed me! I screamed and Wendy turned to me and ran as fast she could to me.

She was then trampled by another wolf and fell to the ground. I was then being dragged away by the other wolves. I screamed as Wendy tried to get up, only to be stomped on on the head. The wolf kept her head pinned to the ground, as she helpless watched me get dragged away. The last thing I heard from her was her crying my name.

Wendy's (POV)

I cried as they dragged Dipper away. I turned my head a little and bit the wolf's paw, making him let me go. He growled at me as I pinned him down. I bit his neck and he went down. I then ran as fast as I could to the wolves that took him away. Once I saw them in my sights, I growled and trampled one of the wolves. One wolf turned to me, and growled. She ran to me and I pinned her down to the ground. I then ran to the wolf that held Dipper, and bit him hard. I pinned him down, and then grabbed Dipper with my fangs. I kept looking behind me and saw the wolves were getting closer to us. I continued to run as fast as I can with Dipper in my fangs.

The remaining wolves chased after us, and tried to bit my tail. I kicked one in the face as I ran and smacked the other with my tail. With the wolves down, I ran away as fast as I could. I then saw some bushes up ahead and jumped behind them, disguised us from any other animal or wolf. When I thought we were safe in the bushes, I put him down. I hugged him tight and licked his cheeks as he blushed. I then started to cry as I rested my head on his shoulder.

Dipper's (POV)

She was crying. I couldn't believe it, she was crying on me. She must have been really worried about me. I wrapped my arms around her, as she cried. I whipped her tears away, and held her tighter. I looked into her beautiful emerald green eyes and I whipped the last of her tears away.

"I was so scared of losing you Dipper!"

"Wendy, it's okay. You saved me."

I smiled at her and she smiled back. We got out of the bushes and began to walk back to our den. When we saw the den coming up I smiled. When we were inside I layed down and Wendy curled herself around me. She licked my cheek again before she spoke up again.

"I'm so sorry Dipper."

"Wendy, it wasn't your fault. I don't blame you for anything."

She smiled at me and I smiled back, and we both fell on each other. I felt cosy and safe with her there. I then fell asleep with her all curled around me.
