Hi, thanks for reading my first story... Since it is my first, it might not be too great, but i hope you enjoy it! :) There are mostly 5 main characters... For now.. Steph's POV
I was running as fast as i could still feeling the bitter taste in my mouth... My eyes were tearing up as i looked back at the monstrosity... Everything was blurry that i couldn't even see the bright light in the lamp posts... As i was yelling, shouting for help i suddenly tripped... '' Don't hurt me" !!! i yelled, in hope that the monster understands me...
Kin-orei's POV
''Day 1- Dear Diary, today i was chosen in the ''Soulless Warriors'' that's why i'm writing this.. Cause we need to report every day about us in our diary's so the control group knows our everyday progress! Yeah, i was the unlucky one... Our group is pretty cool... I guess... There's this girl called Lisa... I think she's some sort of leader of ''Soulless Warriors" ... I don't know... But today is a busy day cause Lisa said that there's been a report of a creature of some sort.. The "Soulless Warriors Control Group'' said it might have to do something with ''Beyond Death.. So i th'' , Suddenly Lisa grabbed me and started to pull me off the rock i was sitting on and writing. My diary fell on the floor as well as the pen...
''There's been a sighting'' she said'pulling me towards the artillery tent. The "Soulless Warriors" had a tent for almost everything : artillery, medical guidance, repair and much more, but the main ''Control center" was in a large, secure building that had all the ''Nerds'' in it - Investigators, Computer pro's, Medics and more. And all of it encased in a large secure Iron wall...
When we ran right into the artillery tent Lisa grabbed a huge, heavy chest-piece and said ''Put it on".

Then right when i put on the chest-peace she grabbed a gun and tossed it at me... Of course because of my slow reflexes i put out my hands and hoped that the gun would just fall right in my paws... Of course it fell on the ground... As i was grabbing it off the floor Lisa ran away and suddenly a huge group of what it looked like ''Backup" joined her. I picked up the gun and started to sprint to catch up with Lisa, not realizing how heavy the chest-peace was. As i cought up with Lisa and our ''Backup'' we heard a loud noise.. It was an explosion coming from the Evergreen street... We were running as fast as we could when suddenly fatigue started to hit me... It was a terrible pain in my chest... It was the chest-peace that was causing my pain... I couldn't resist taking it off because i started to slowly pass out.. I hesitated and said ''YOLO'' and took it off... It felt so good and i started to run with the gun in my hands... Since i was running in the back without the heavy chest-peace i started to pass people/Backup. Right when i passed Lisa i knew she felt furious seeing me without the protecting chest-peace as she yelled '' What are you doing"!!!
I ignored her and realized that i was so close to where the explosion came from... As i got to Evergreen street all i saw was some debris from the buildings where the explosion came from... The whole ''Backup'' group and Lisa were yelling at me... I thought it was because of me taking off the chest-peace and that i ran without them... but no... And i realized why were they yelling...
A monstrous looking creature was running behind me and it jumped at me pushing me on the ground. I was staring in his Four eyes... We were looking at each other for about five seconds when Lisa shot it blasting the creature off of me! I got up and ran towards the "Backup" group. When the creature ran towards us everyone started to shoot it creating a loud shreaking noise...

"Hey Kin"! I ran right into Kin-orei's flat! As usially exhausted from the stairs, since Kin-orei lived in the 7th floor. "Today is the day! When someone is gonna be chosen in the "Soulless Warrior" group"!
"Yeah, but like what are the chances that one of us is gonna get chosen" Kin replied as i looked at him with a shady look...
Thanks, for reading the first chapter of my mystery story "Beyond Death" ! You are probably really confused on whats "Beyond Death"? What does it mean to "get chosen"? And much more, but don't worry cause it's gonna be explained in the future chapters! :) Please if you want to you can leave a comment or even follow.. It it' s just so i know you like it and it really helps me get trough my anxiety... Since it's mostly a psychological problem it really helps and i really apreciate it. :*
