Chapter eight: "Just a dream."

Dipper's (POV)

When I awoke, I was in a beautiful meadow, with flowers and trees as far as the eye can see. I got up and yawned, before I heard a familiar voice.

"Dipper, you made it."

"WENDY!!"

I ran over to her and hugged her tight. She hugged back, before I spoke up again.

"I thought I lost you Wendy."

"It's okay, I'm here. You did fine dude."

"Don't say that, I messed up a bunch."

"But, I really missed you Wendy."

We finally separated from each other and I smiled at her. She smiled back before she spoke up again.

"There, there, it's going to be alright."

"Why did you have to go?"

"I had to make sure that you would be safe."

"But I am now."

"I know, and I'm not going anywhere."

I held her tighter when she said that. She held me too until.....I woke up.
I woke up in the wet grass by the berry bush, and I sighed. I was mad at myself for not finding her yet. I got up, and started walking. I then saw a camp site not too far away from me. I thought if I disguised myself, the humens won't see me as a monster. I went to the camp site and started looking for clothes. I found a hat that I could use to cover my ears with. I then found a large coat I could use to cover my body with. When I was all set I walked to the border. I walked out of the forest and into town, where I saw humens dressed up as monsters?

I then look at a sign hanging on top of a shop that said 'Happy Halloween' on it. That's right Halloween is coming up so I didn't need the disguise. Ugh! I slapped my head and took the clothes off. I then walked around in town, looking for any signs that can lead me to Wendy. I then bumped into a kid in a werewolf costume and got a little freaked out.

"Hey kid, nice deer senator costume."

"Uh thanks, nice werewolf costume."

"Yeah, but it's not as good as that one chix wolf costume I saw earlier."

"Wait, was the fur red?"

"Yeah."

"Where did you see her?"

"I saw her on display at the fur store."

"Fur store?"

"Yeah, it's where they sell fur pelts of animals, and mounts."

I panic when I heard that. I was afraid that Wendy was going to be a rug or a mount. I had to find her fast.

"Can you show me this store?"

"Yeah sure, follow me."

Me and the kid started walking down town, and I was praying the whole time. I tried to stay calm but found it harder then I thought. I tried to keep in mind that I had to be strong for Wendy. She wouldn't want me to be afraid. I had to find her, she saved my life, now it's time I to save her's.
