Book Buddies

I did some editing folks. Fixed some obvious mistakes, sorry. =~= Also adding some stuff to this one too.

Natsu was walking towards Lucy's apartment with Happy flying beside him. He went to see Lucy at her apartment to walk with her to the guild; but she wasn't there. And of course he went through the window.
" It doesn't look like she's here" said Happy. " Yeah" said Natsu pouted " I guess she went to the- hey what's that?" He asked.

He went over to her desk where a big post-it note sat. It said: Breakfast with Aaron at six! Berry's Cafe. Don't be late!
In an instant, Natsu started trembling in fury. He thought Who the hell is this Aaron guy!? And what's he doing with my Luce!?
Dragon instincts and possessiveness took over him and all rational thought flew out the window.

Happy noticed his sudden change in attitude, and he didn't like it. " N-Natsu? Are you ok?" He didn't reply, instead he stomped to the window he came in, jumped out, and kicked it into high gear down the street. " Natsu! Wait!......Geez what's his problem?" Happy wondered as flew as fast as he could to try and catch up with his best friend.

Meanwhile Natsu was speeding all through town trying to find this cafe that was mentioned on the slip of paper. While doing so he kept wondering why Lucy never told him about this guy. Was it a date? Cause if it was he was gonna burn that bastard into a pile ashes if he even thought about making moves on his Lucy. His partner.
Most people thought that he was too dense to know what love is, but he did.
At first when he met Lucy, he wasn't sure what he was feeling, but as time went by realized that he had fallen in love with the blonde celestial mage. Her smile, beautiful brown eyes, perfect curves, and tough attitude. He loved everything about her, even her freaking out moments. He wasn't about to lose her in the slightest chance. Not to anybody.

Finally after searching for about an half an' hour, he found it. And what he saw through the window made his blood boil. There sitting in a both was Lucy on the left chair and across from her was probably to be Aaron. He had brown shaggy hair, green eyes, and a pair of red glasses on top of his head. Natsu couldn't hear what they where saying, but Aaron said something which made Lucy laugh. They didn't seem to notice him. The more he watched the angrier he got. Then Aaron put his hand on hers, and that's when he lost it.
He was highly considering punching the guy into next Tuesday, but he knew Lucy would ' Lucy Kick' him into the next county if he did something like that.

So he went in the cafe calmly but angrily, towards their table. " Oh hey Natsu!" Lucy called out to him. "Aaron this is my best friend Natsu, the one I told you about?" Aaron smiled and put out his hand for Natsu to shake " Hi, I'm Aaron Saunders, Lucy mentioned a lot about you in our conversation."
Natsu didn't shake it " Yeah whatever. Lucy I need to talk to you. Now. " he said in a low growl. Lucy shivered a little in fear. She'd never seen Natsu act like this towards her.
" Um.......can it wait? I'm kinda in the middle of something here" that seemed to make more him more pissed off. " No" he answered coldly. " O-okay, Aaron I'll be right baaaaaaaaack!" She couldn't finish for Natsu suddenly pulled her to the door, practically dragging her. Aaron just sat there looking a little dumbfounded and confused.

He lead her to an ally next to the store, pinned her against the wall, but not roughly to hurt her, and pinned both arms on ether side of her head on the wall. " What do you think you're doing?" He growled.
" What are you talking about!?"
" I mean what do you think your doing with him?"
" Me and Aaron where having a book discussion"
" Is it a date?"
" What!? No, of course not! I ran into him at my favorite book store and we happened to be buying the same book. We introduced our selves and our favorite book genres, in which we had a lot in common, so we planned to discuss the book to today after we were done reading it but that's all!"
Natsu let out a breath that he hadn't realize was holding in and released his hands from the wall, but now Lucy wanted answers. " So do you mind telling my why you so rudely interrupted us!?" Lucy demanded, arms crossed.
" Well.....because....." He said trying to come up with an answer. " Well!?" " Cause I was afraid okay!?" She didn't expect that. " Afraid? Afraid of what?"
" Afraid that you were interested in that guy in the cafe" he mumbled the last part.
" What? I don't like Aaron like that, we just met a week ago! He's nothing more of than an acquaintance than anything! Besides, he's cute I have to admit ,but he's not my type, I actually like someone else..........but I don't think he'll notice me" she admitted and mumbled the last part while blushing deep red, but instantly covered her mouth when she realized what she just said. All that jealous anger he had earlier came back down like a load of bricks.
" What!? Who!?" He growled. Lucy saw his clear jealously and decided to tease him." Why do want to know?" She asked with sly smile, " So I'll make sure that bastard doesn't come near you! Now who is it!?" She only kept smiling. " Tell you what? I'll give you one big hint....." Natsu was waiting eagerly for her answer, ready to hunt this guy down, and to make sure he stays away from his Lucy, but instead answering with words like he thought, she grabbed his face and placed her lips on his. Once again, all that anger faded away but for a completely different reason.

After him being stunned, she pulled away and smiled. " So is that a good enough answer for you?" She asked blushing, I can't believe I just did that! He smiled his signature smile and grabbed her by the waist to kiss her again. Unlike the one timid kiss from a second ago, this one was passionate. Both ended up kissing each other senseless. After while, they broke apart to catch their breaths; they stood there holding each other, forehead on forehead. " You don't how long I've wanted to do that" Natsu said. " Then why didn't you?"
" Chickened out. You?"
" Same"
" Don't want to talk about it?"
" Nah, talking's boring" she replied as they brought their lips back together. Then all of a sudden: " Whew! I finally found you Nats-Whoa!whoa! What's going on here!?" Shouted Happy, having previously been searching all over town for Natsu when he took off. The couple immediately pulled away from each other to look at Happy. " You looooooove each other!!!" " You got that right!" Natsu proudly proclaimed, pulling close to him again, she blushed. " When's the wedding?" Lucy gave him ' the look' " Alright kitty cat, hold your horses. We just confessed to each other like a minute ago, we haven't even started dating yet!" " ~Natsu and Lucy, sittin' in a tree! K-I-S-S-I-N-G!~" Both sweat dropped knowing where this was going. " first comes love! Then comes marriage! Then comes-" " SHUT UP, HAPPY!!!"

There's mah Nalu, next ones gonna be Gruvia!
