Hey guys!!! This is new for me and I don't know if I'm going to pursue this story. Tell me what you think. If you are confused about anything let me know. I know I didn't give you any info on the guy but if I continue there will be more than enough info on him!!! Casai's name is pronounced (Kuh-Sigh). Idk what it's suppose to be I was just playing around with this for a while. Please give me some grace you guys. Writing isn't usually my thing. But don't hesitate to tell me what you think!!! PLEASE  AND THANK YOU!!!!

Feet pounding the pavement, Casai raced through Central Park letting the wind hit her face; she felt at peace. She felt herself slowing down but sped up when she heard him behind her. There was something about her feet beating the pavement that was exciting to her; or maybe it was the chase. Her knowing that he was right behind her, close enough to touch, yet far away enough for her to keep the lead.

"Slow down speed racer" He yelled as he reached out to grab her wrist.

He pulled her close to him, engulfing her in his arms. Casai felt the acclelerated beat of his heart as it matched her own. She let her nerves get the best of her as she put her head on his chest and looked down. He lifted her head up by her chin and stared intently into her eyes. For the first time Casai notices the specks of gold in his bold green eyes. A shiver went through Casai's body and she tried to look away. He held her face up and began to speak but stopped and just stared. He started to lower his head and close the distance between their faces.

Casai broke away and began her race again.

"Catch me if you can" She yelled as she sprinted away from him.

She felt nervous. Casai knew what his kiss meant and she was not ready. She was not ready for the emotions and feelings his kiss would bring. Casai thought of all the things that his kiss alone would do to her, question herself as a woman, question her feelings toward life, toward men. She was not ready to let go and forgive men yet. She was not ready for him to save her. He couldn't save her. She didn't need to be saved! Yet she yearned for his closeness and she knew that one kiss from him would do that; change things for her. It was the look in his eye. He looked in her as if he were searching her soul, trying to unlock the doors to her inner most private places and replace what was there with himself. Casai wasn't ready for what he was offering with his kiss. He was everything Casai was afraid of, he was strong, handsome, charming, confident, and powerful. But most of all he was a man, and Casai didn't get serious with men. She was scared to let one of them in again. Men were created to hurt women. But that craving in her to be taken care of was calling. The craving in her to be a woman was strong and getting stronger the more time she spent with him. Casai's brain was racing.

Casai was thinking so much she didn't notice when he caught up to her and grabbed her again. His grip was firm yet gentle. His 6'4" frame towering over her, consuming her with his presence. She looked into his eyes pleadingly. Hoping that the look in her eyes will say what her mouth wouldn't. As she looked into his eyes she saw a softness there. Something she wasn't sure she'd seen in them before; compassion. He moved a stray hair away from her face and pushed it behind her ear. His touch on her face was enough to make her give in. The starving woman inside her was winning over. He started to lower his head and she complied and began to close the distance between them. She was ready. She felt safe. He rubbed the back of her neck as they got closer, her eyes drifted shut in anticipation for the kiss she knew was about to come. The rain started falling on them but neither of them wavered. The thunder sounded and she felt him pull back. The thunder got louder and he was standing straight up. Casai opened her eyes and saw him smiling down at her. The rain was heavier and the thunder was becoming unbearably loud. She faintly saw him wink at her before he took off running in the direction they came.

"Wait" she yelled as she chased after him

The thunder turned into a blaring siren as she felt herself running in slow motion.

"Please. WAIT!" She tried to yell but her voice was drowned out by the noise. She couldn't see him anymore.

The siren blared loudly in Casai's ear as she woke up, turned over and slammed her hand over her alarm clock.

"You have got to be kidding me right!" Casai yells as she looks over at her clock.

5:30 am

Casai sat up in bed with her feet on the floor. She was pissed. It was just a dream. One of the most exciting, scary, special moments in her life was just a dream, with a mystery man she didn't know but wish she did.

Casai got out of bed and walked to her closet to prepare her clothes for her morning run on the lake shore; her favorite time of the day.
