A/N: It's been like 3 months since I've updated this rip
"QUEENIE! YOU'RE FINALLY OUT!" A voice shrieked excitedly from inside the doorway.
The room was just like every other room in this place, and that was just boring, plain white everything.
Why do they think all the white is calming? I thought to myself. It's like the opposite it's unnerving.
It took me a moment to realize that Queenie was already sitting down at a table, chatting with everybody there. As I shuffled towards the table, everyone turned to me as they stopped talking.
After a couple of moments of silence a loud "QUEENIE WHO'S THIS" erupted from one of the people at the table. My face contorted in disgust as I took a seat at the table. These people were so upfront and weird. I immediately disliked them.
"This is Jen. She's my new roommate." Queenie explained as she walked up to go get food for herself. "Are you gonna eat Jen? You better or else they'll put you on watch."
"Uh, sure." I replied as I scrambled to catch up with her, almost slipping on the tile floor.
As soon as we sat back down at the table, the girl from before literally screeched, "I DON'T LIKE HER." before shoving a spoonful of mashed potatoes in her mouth and looking down.
"That's Mimi. Sorry, she's oddly blunt. She speaks everything on her mind whether it's good or bad." Queenie explained. She still hadn't eaten any food yet.
"I'm Heidi! It's nice to meet you!" A girl piped up from next to Mimi. The two guys at the table introduced themselves as Danny and Josh.
"So, how do you like it here so far?" The people on the opposite side of Queenie started to make conversation. Josh and Mimi. Mimi had oddly calmed down since her last outburst.
"It's ok, I guess. It's pretty creepy though." I replied. Something about this was really off.
By the time they were done talking to me, lunch was already over. I turned back to Queenie and realized that her food was gone. It had all been eaten, but her mask had never moved off of her face.
Before I could ask any questions, she stood up and started walking out. "Come on, group therapy is next. You've been assigned to my group, which is basically everyone you just ate lunch with."
I shuffled along beside her. She was hiding something, I just knew it. I'd found out too, whether she likes it or not.
A/N: I was going to include the group therapy session, but I want it to be from Queenie's perspective. Sorry this was so short!
