••• Alex's perspective •••
Lexi looked around my age, seventeen. She had light blonde hair, and sparkly, hazel eyes that were mostly green. Half of her head had hair to her cheek on it and the other side was shaved down. She had on a black half-shirt with a white undershirt on, and dark, navy jeans. Lexi wore lacy, black, fingerless gloves that went to her elbows. Besides for the lack of color, she fit right in.
She looked a little mad, but in a good way. Ahhem I heard a voice from behind, "Oh, sorry. I'm Alex." "Nice to meet you," said Lexi, "So, what now?" "Well," I start,"You probably haven't heard but, your like this really important person from this prophecy." "Uhhh, yeah, I have heard. Care to elaborate though, because no one else did?" Lexi asked, curious. "Sure, so um, where to start. Well, my mom, Alice-" I started before Lexi interrupted. "Wait wait wait, your mom was Alice? Like THE Alice?" She asked, looking at me differently now. "Yeah, but that doesn't matter right now. Anyways, the Red Queen is going on a murderous rampage, she tried killed her sister, the White Queen." Gasp "I know," I say,"That's why you have to stop her, because your the only one who can." "But why am I the only one that can?" She asked not really grasping the whole thing. "Well, it has to be a dreamer, and dreamers only come from the surface." I try to explain. "Ok, that's the little, tiny detail no one bothered to tell me." She said, her voice laced with sarcasm.
••• Lexi's perspective •••
I know people in Wonderland are mad, and I'm all for that. But. I didn't expect them to be so blunt! Although Alex was nice, and for God sakes the son of THE Alice, he could be quite stupid. "So, does she have to get killed by some mystical, impossible to find weapon or something?" I say assuming it will be like any other story. "No, that sounds ridiculous. You kill like you kill anything else mortal. With swords and crap," Alex responds. "Well then, let's get to stabbing." I say, rubbing my gloved hands together. "It's not that simple," Alex says, "You can't just walk up to her and kill her, she has any army. Also, without the White Queen or my mom, Alice, Wonderland is starting to fall into chaos, and more than normal." "What does that have to do with it? And where is the White Queen?" I ask wondering why they don't just tell the whole story, so I add, "And this time just tell the whole story." No one speaks. "Wait. Does no one know what's really going on? What the heck?!" I say frustrated, although not really surprised either, I guess the government is secretive everywhere.
••• Alex's perspective •••
I could tell Lexi wanted answers, I would too if I was the one who had to kill the Red Queen. So, I figured I'll tell her what we know, which isn't much. "Well..." I say, trying to figure out how to start, I guess I'll just answer her questions first. "Ok so, Wonderland is falling into chaos and that's bad because the only people who rebelled last time are either dead, hiding, or dying. This means that we would have to inspire a whole other generation of Wonderlandians to rise against Red. Also, as I stated before Red tried to kill her sister. But, she didn't completely succeed. What happened was they had an argument after White saw here back in town, because-" I was cut off. "Because she and Ilosovic Stayne got sent to live in the forest where no one was to speak to them or show them kindness." Lexi finished.
"Yeah, uh... How did you know that?" I ask, completely baffled by her knowledge of Wonderland. "Oh, well, in my," she paused, "realm, you're all fictional characters. Chess already knows this." "We're. Not. Real." I say very slowly, trying to comprehend. "Well..." Lexi said with a questioning tone, "I'm not so sure anymore. I mean, how could you be fake, yet I'm here?" "So are we really or not?" I ask, God this conversation just keeps getting more and more confusing. "I think-" Lexi starts. "We are real but in her world we are fictitious." Absolem snaps in an enforcing voice.
••• Lexi's perspective •••
Wow, for such a little guy that butterfly can get pretty damn angry. "Anyways, now that that's decided back to what we were talking about." I say. "Yeah, well as I was saying, White ran into Red and was completely astounded. They started arguing, or more like Red yelling while White tried to reason calmly. As they 'argued' Stayne came up behind White. He tried to stab her through the back into her heart, but luckily she turned around in time so he only got her back." Alex elaborated. "Ever since then, she's been kept in the lowest cell in Red's dungeon. This is why we have no leader, no voice to well, inspire the people once more." Alex finished.
"You." I say. "What about U?" Alex asks me. "No. You," I say poking him, "you can inspire the people. It's what your destined for! After all you are Alice's bloody son!" Alex laughs, "Even if I am Alice's son, it doesn't mean I posses the same skill as her, the same aspiration." "Well," interrupts Cheshire, "I wouldn't say you don't have any skill in persuasion. I mean, you just convinced this young lady to fight a bloody tyrant." I shrugged, he had a point. "Well, I guess, but Lexi is just one person I have to persuade a whole kingdom. How do I do that?" Alex asked everyone, and for a moment everyone was silent. "Then you do it one person at a time." I say with full-fled confidence. "Indeed," says Chessie, "What ever works best," adds Absolem.
"So, looks like you already have one recruit, me." I say, and then I go and stand next to him to show my alliance. "Well, I already supported your mother, why not support you." Chess says and then floats over. "I guess it would be embarrassing to not join."
Alex sighs, "Let's go take down tyrant."
