Veronica's POV

"Eli and Veronica." Mrs. Monroe announced as I looked down. I felt Anya hit my arm softly as she smiled along with Emily. I shook my head while rolling my eyes. I grabbed my pencil and began tapping it on the desk as I saw Eli pass by to get our book. I wonder what it is. I saw Eli walk back and place the book in front of me. Romeo & Juliet. Really? Oh what luck I have! My guy friend and I have to do a report and a dramatization about a love story! How amazing............ NOT. The bell rang as everyone got up to leave class. I saw Eli walk over to me as I got my stuff ready to leave. "This is a wonderfully ironic isn't it?" He asked as I smiled and rolled my eyes. "It's whatever honestly." I replied to him. "When do you want to work on it?" He asked me. "Right now." I said as he starred at me confused. I grabbed his wrist as I ran with him through the hall until we reached this little space they put for students to sit and study. Eli starred at me, still with a confused expression on his face as soonly so did I. "What?" I asked as he laughed quietly. "Shouldn't we go and do the project somewhere else?" He said as I shook my head. He took my hand as he ran and I followed him. I say run to the entrance of the school as I immediately pulled his arm and stopped running. He turned to face me. "What do you think you're doing?!" I asked him while starring as he smiled at me slightly. "Oh Veronica.. Always so curious.." He said walking through the doors as I followed him behind. I bit the inside of cheek as I shook my head. Obviously I didn't agree with this. But Eli always does whatever he wants. "Here." He stopped me. I saw a small bench as I looked at him. "You brought me.. From the school.. All the way.. To a freaking bench?!" I raised my voice a bit as he laughed and nodded. What's funny to him? "You think it's a joke, Eli? There was a space over there at school! We could have stayed! Eli, class probably has started!" I yelled as I turned to walk away back to school as Eli got infront of me as he stopped me quickly. "Dammit Eli.." I whispered under my breath. "Look, I don't want to be there. I don't like it. Just come on. We can work here. Plus we're skipping class to do a project. I mean will they really get mad? They'll believe you, but not me so you're fine Veronica. Calm down." He smiled as I shook my head and sat down. "Alright let's start." He said sitting next to me. I took out our book and gave it to him. He starred at it blankly. I widened my eyes. "Well?" I said as he looked at me. "Well what?" He said blankly. I smiled and took the book from his grip. "Well I'm guessing we have to plan out certain things." I said. "Why." He asked as I got a bit annoyed. "What do you mean 'why.'? We have to write a report and reenact the book Eli. Didn't you pay attention?" I asked as he shook his head. "Oh Eli.." I sighed as he laughed. "Well we sort of have to be creative on this." I added. He looked at me shocked. "We can't take it from the internet?!" He asked. "Why.... Would you want to do that?" I asked him. He looked at me as he widened his eyes "why? Because less work!" He said as I shook my head. "Why is it that you can be such a different person inside and out of school?" He asked me as I starred at him. "You don't really know everything about me." I said as he starred at me confused. "You think you do.. But there's lots of things that you don't know.." I said quietly "can i know?" He asked me as I spoke. "Discover them.. By yourself.." I said to him while he starred at me; shocked a bit by the words that came out of my mouth..
