Senior Year Prom

"I can't believe prom is here already!" Ariel, Leilani and I sat on my bed. We brought all the stuff to my parents mansion to get ready. "They said only ball gowns and tie event. So formal!" Leilani said in a British accent. Leilani had blonde hair and moss green eyes. Ariel had black hair and blue eyes. I had soft light brown hair with violet eyes. We laid our dresses on my bed. Everyone called us the 3 dorks because we were all super smart yet pretty. Leilani was going with Marc, her boyfriend, Ariel was going with Jonathan, her boyfriend. I wanted to ask my friend Stanley, but I was too late. Apparently, the slut Ashlyn knew I was crushing on him. In fact, she found my diary and found my crush on him. She asked him out not only to prom but to be her BOYFRIEND!!! I was humiliated when I asked him and she ran up and kissed him on the lips! Stanley totally forgot I was there and walked off with Ashlyn! I felt a pillow hit me smack in the face. I snap out of my thoughts and glare at the two girls pointing to each other. My dress is a glittery black base, that shows see through mesh on the right side in a

circle. It flows out at the hip. I had my hair in a bun with curls falling out, with black heels. I had silver eyeliner and a smokey eyes with lip gloss. Nice black swirly earrings. Leilani had on a light blue and green dress, with a silver glitter star on the left side. It also flows at the hip. She had on silver heals and blue eyeshadow, and silver hoops. Her hair was straightened to protection. Ariel had a dress with black shards on the corset and a deep purple flow at the hips. She had on purple shadows and purple heels. Her hair was in loose curls. "Lets go Leilani!!" Leilani rushed down the stairs when we heard the doorbell. "Probably the boys, I got it!" I rush to the door and I nearly faint. "Mom? Dad? Mommy! Daddy! I can't believe your here!" I jump into there arms and dad holds up a camera. "Pictures!" We snap an few when the boys arrive and we take group pictures. "Hon, you don't have a date?" I look down and suck up my tears, threatening to spill. "No Mommy I don't, are you gonna stay later?" My mom looks at dad guiltily. "We actually are-" my dad starts. "Catching a plane to go to Boston right after, right Don?" I see my mom glare and she only called my dad Don when she was serious. She talks through gritted teeth. "Mom? What's going on?" She sighs. "We are moving," dad says. "What! When?!" My friends shriek. "Tomaaaaaaahya" my mom mumbled. "Speak up mom I need to know!" I shout. "TOMORROW!" she yells back. Tears spilling, from her eyes. "Your grandma is sick and she wants us to move with Shelby." I am fuming. "Way to ruin a night MOM! I'm leaving and how-" "LET ME FINISH!" her manicured hand is up to shit me up. "Your guys are going to California," I gulp. "We?!" We all scream. My mom nods. "Your parents to let u stay as long as you like," we hug each other. "Go! Prom! Helloooooo!" Leilani waves her hands. I kiss my mom and dad goodbye and we hop in the car. "Yea! Prommmm!"
