The household of Jacob and Caroline Vargas, a royal family gone down the wrong path. Dealing with various drug trades in the Italian mafia, they easily became involved with murders, shoot outs, and crime. Their only secret; a hidden child. One who never left the house, and was not known to exist to the outside world. With a family trait that has been passed down to every Vargas generation. A power that is only known to people who have it: Animal like traits, known as 'kindles.' The child had inherited the trademark of the family name, a brown rabbit kindle.

The child's name was, Lily. Lily Vargas was only 10 years old when she was robbed of her entire family. Yet no one knew of her existence, since she was always kept inside of the Manor, with her only company and butler: Leo Kramer. A red fox kindle that the Vargas family had taken in and raised after finding him in a left behind in a raided village. Leo was only one year older than Lily, but was taught how to cook, clean, and care for her like a real butler. He was even trained for the dreariest of situations; but yet... he never knew it would have come so soon.

The Vargas family had been working with some very dangerous people in the mafia. The main problems were David Frazer (The leader of the Mafia) and his apprentice Morgan. David Frazer is a Tiger Kindle from a long family of bandits and brutes. His scar stretched along his face was from none other than Morgan,  a water Dragon Kindle, the last of her kind. From a battle with Frazer, which Morgan eventually saw his strength, and decided to work under him. Although she quickly left after the incident at Vargas Manor, late one rainy night...

David's POV

It was blasting with rain. We pulled up to the front of the Manor and got out the car. We were starting to get soaked before we ran to the doorstep. "We finally made it to this place... To be quite honest, I never trusted the wealthy. Especially when they think they got it all." I sighed. Morgan seemed out of it, "D-David, please can we hurry? I don't really like stormy nights." 'Oh so that was it?' I thought. "Yeah, It's suppose to just be a fast pick up. Hopefully they don't try any sly shit." I responded as I pounded on the door. It opened and a butler guided us to where we needed to go. "David, you know I don't want you swearing. Watch your language... yet I agree with the pick up." She sighed. "For pete's sake, I'm in the Mafia. I think I earned my right to swear." I replied. Morgan started pouting and tearing up, "You'd ignore my request?" She cried. 'Honestly... I know how she acts. Always kind and trying to be the big sister type. But right now... she could be the little sister.' I thought. The main door opened and we both entered the ballroom. Jacob and Caroline Vargas were sitting on their fancy chairs- erm 'thrones?'I think they were called. "Yo. Nice erm- place you got here. So, where are the items?" I said. The two looked at each other confused and a bit scared,"They will arrive when we receive payment, yes?" I started to get fed up. Ain't no way we were gonna leave empty handed. "Oi. What do you mean? I was told to pay double the amount before the arrangement was made." I started growling. "Double? We had arranged no such thing." They replied. 'What the?! Damn these two... Where the hell did my money go to then?!' I thought. "Hey... I got rumors from other groups about these people. I think they robbed us of our money. It's only fair that I take it back right?!" I cracked my knuckles and transformed. Morgan stared darkly, "David, don't do what you're thinking. It's not going to solve our problems. Please don't do something you'll regret." "I won't-" I suddenly got cut off when bullets shattered the silence. Morgan yelped as she held her arm.The damn thing was bleeding! I felt a sharp pain in my leg and realized I was shot. "BASTARDS!" I pounced at Jacob, ripping him to shreds. I didn't realize until after, that Caroline and several other butlers and maids had been shot dead. 'What the-' I quickly grabbed onto Morgan and made a break for it. 'If it wasn't the damn royal family... who the hell attacked us?' I thought. We both got into the car and sped away. Since that day...I've never heard of the Vargas family or from Morgan again...

Lily's POV

It was pouring rain when I awoke to loud noises. "Eh?"     I rubbed my eyes as I saw Leo approach me, he had a large bag on his back and pulled me out of bed. "We must be going, Milady." His face seemed distressed. "Oh? But where to at this time of day?" I asked. "Far away, Milady." He answered. "Will mother and father be coming with us?" I asked. "I am unsure." He replied. We were both walking quietly down the hallway when the Ballroom door burst with noise. "My my, Is my parents throwing a party again?" I asked. Leo wasn't paying attention because he was too busy looking around. So I creaked the door open and snuck a peak...

'W-wait... Why is daddy wrestling? W-why isn't he getting up? What is that red... I looked to my left and saw mommy. She looked scared. Why was she... she fell backwards... M-mommy? Mommy was limp. A pool of red was around her...' Leo pulled me away from the door. "Lily! Are you okay? Y-you..." He looked through and saw what I saw. "We must go, now!" Leo pulled me to the corner of the hallway and we heard a loud crash followed by a car driving away. We made our way out the house through the vents. By the time we got out we heard a huge explosion! I turned around and saw half of our home engulfed in flames. It wasn't long until the whole house was engulfed in it. I couldn't do anything but hold onto Leo and cry. We watched in the rain as our home was burnt to nothing but ash.

The only thing left was... Ashes in the rain.
