"He makes me smile" a carlos/descendants fanfiction

Chapter 10:

Nobody's POV :
"Sooooo", said Logan exasperatedly.
"So what...", Kayla tried to say nonchalantly.
"Ugh, Kayla you know what I'm talking about!", Logan almost yelled but had settled for a more inside type volume.
"I have absolutely no idea what your talking about.", Kayla said obviously lying.
"The KISS!!!! Kayla I'm talking about the kiss, we have to talk about it. And don't even say that it didn't happen because I ciuld tell the , minute you walked in the room.", Logan said matter-o-factly.
"Fine, okay yes there was a kiss, and it was amazing. It felt like we were the only two people in the world. Like nothing else in the world but us. And when I looked into his eyes, I feel like I don't have to be a perfect princess all the time. With him I always feel like im just myself, you know like how I am with you.", Kayla explained.

Kayla's POV :
As I talked to Logan about Carlos, I couldn't keep a smile off of my face. We talked all night about our relationships. We ate pizza and got green bubble. We watched so 5 different movies, I might have fallen asleep during the fith movie (It was a scary movie.Logan decided it was a good idea to watch a horror movie with me, I'm never scared of horror movies).

I wake up to a phone call from my mother.
"We are going on the annual trip to Mermaid beach this friday. You can bring 5 friends. Don't forget to pack sunscreen sweetie!", my Mother says quickly.
"Okay mom, talk to you later." I say reply tiredly.
"Love you my little rose. Goodbye!", my Mother answers.
"Bye mom love you too", I say as I put on my glasses.

After the phone call, I walk over to my closet. I have a date with Carlos in the park, so what do I wear? Finally I decide to go with some white shorts, a blue tank top that has a bow at the bottom hem of the shirt, some black combat boots, a black hat,a silver feather ear cuff,a silver ring,a white phone case with text on it. I put my hair into soft curls, and put on some light pink lipgloss. Logan tells me that I look great. Then I head out the door.

Carlos's POV :
I have had a black gem necklace that my father gave me. Well before my mother chased him away when he said he wanted to have a simple life. I wish I could see him again, but he's gone. I found a matchjng necklace but light pink. It reminds me of Kayla, almost an exact copy of me. But she's so much different, she's the light so she cant be the same as me. She's the only reason I haven't tried to run away from Auradon Prep. The reason I've seen the light, and I'm never going back to the Island. This little pink necklace represents that.

And I told her exactly that.

"Carlos thank you so much. It's beauitful and I love it!", Kayla said before her lips crashed on mine. At first I was in shock, because a beautiful girl was kissing me. Well this is different than on the island. She pulled away and just smiled at me. As I looked into her eyes, I could tell I can't let anything mess this up. But for now im just happy to be with her.

Gavin's POV :
He gave her a necklace to represent how much she means to him. I can't believe it. She really likes Carlos, ever since I met Kayla. Well I've been in love. When I was dating Jennifer I pushed my feelings for Kayla. I did everything I wanted to do with Kayla, with Jennifer instead. I was happy. And Kayla's never kept a serious boyfriend before. Most break up with her once they've climbed the social ladder. Kayla's too good for almost everyone. But she's happy with Carlos. And that's all I ever want for her. To be happy. But if I could have a chance to be in Carlos's shoes, to be with her. Well I'd do anything to hold her and be the one who makes her happy...
