Ladybug and chat noir reveal attempts

Volpina

His claws dug into the support beams of the Eiffel Tower, his neck craned to look above him. Ladybug was below him, shouting out. Her French was harder to understand when she was panicking. Why she was panicking now.. Well.. The situation did call for it, even though he knew it didn't. Volpina held on to an Illusion!Adrian arm and swung him around. It made him roll his eyes. As if he wouldn't scream or struggle.
"Give me your miraculous, Ladybug, and I won't drop him." Volpina exclaimed.
"I thought you liked him," Chat Noir said. "You'd really drop him?" Ouch.
Volpina snarled towards him. Well, she was akumatized.
Ladybug had her yoyo in hand and she snapped her wrist. The yoyo flew and knotted itself on the top beam and Ladybug pulled herself up. Chat Noir followed her. "Ladybug, no." He said. "It's an illusion." He exclaimed.
She reached for her ears and he know what she was going to do.
He knew what he was going to do.
Chat Noir's feet moved before he knew what to do. He elbowed her in the stomach and she she fell off the side of the Eiffel Tower.
Everything slowed down, from volpina dropping the fake Adrian to Ladybug staring at him with betrayal. She swung her yoyo and it hooked around a beam. She dove for the fake adrien, getting an armful of nothing. When she looked back up at them, chat noir had taken off his ring.
Ladybug's mouth made an O. None of the three moved. Both the girls stared at Adrien. Adrien was only staring back at ladybug. He mouthed something, but between the distance and shock, she missed it.
Volpina recovered first. She gripped the ring and started climbing down. Adrien clenched his fist and looked at her. He didn't need a ring to be a hero. He didn't need cataclysm or a cat suit or Plagg. But he did need Ladybug.
She was the only one that can de-evilize an akuma.
It was for all these reasons that Adrian tackled volpina off the side of the tower and the two of them tumbled.
Volpina looked almost scared for a fraction of a second.
Then, she smiled.
Volpina disappeared in a wisp of smoke. It as an illusion.
Adriens stomach fell and he twisted. He spotted the ring falling in the air and reached for it when the ground rose to meet him.
