What happens if she can't wait forever....

Starfire's POV

They all look so happy. They all are enjoying each other nothing could make me happier to see my family , my friends on my glorious birthday . Titans east came to join us in my celebration and so have many of our beloved friends that we have made since our battle with the brain .

"Hey Starfire, are u ok ? " asked Robin .

"Oh I am most joyful to see every body but robin yes there is something that does the bothering of me ..."

Robin- " What's wrong Star?

"Robin let us not bring down the fun ... Do u mind if we speak about it later after everyone has had the fun ?"

Robin- " Oh ok .... Starfire?...

"Yes Robin ... ?

Robin - " Happy birthday ... "

I thought he would say something that would make my heart soar but be did not . Ever since Japan , ever since we kissed, he acts as if nothing has changed . Does he expect Ill wait forever ?

" Thank you Robin ....."

Robins POV

I can't believe I just said that. I'm such and idiot , i don't know what it is but she makes me, Robin , Strong , Independent , Robin melt . Starfire is the most beautiful , amazing, strongest , courageous most innocent , most loving and inspiring girl I've ever met and I can't tell her three simple words ... Total mental face palm ....

( they both walk out into the main room for her party and cyborg and BB get the cake .)

In the main rom~

Cyborgs POV -

Starfire will SOO love this cake. I don't know what the team would do if we lost star. She's the thing that keeps us from killing each other .

"BB , can u give me a hand lighting the candles and make sure Raven, Jinx , and Bee are ready outside as soon as she walk through the door to set the fire works off and then it's our Que. Ok?"

BB- " Yeah , yeah ,yeah I know I'm not gonna mess up this time Cy I really wanna make this special for Star she is one amazing friend ."

"Okay just don't mess up. Tell raven to be ready ."

( BB. Picks up communicator )

BB's POV~

BB- " Raven u ready ?"

Raven~ " Yes of course I am ... GARFIELD ... Raven yelled with Evil snaked in her voice . "

"RAVEN ..... STOP USING MY REAL NAME .... You know how much I hate it ." To throw her off I smiled so sweetly then winked and blew her a kiss .

She stared at me with a blank look then shut her communicator off . Before she did I saw the slightest shade of a crimson red escape onto her cheeks. She was so beautiful . I really do like her I just can't tell if she likes me .

Cyborg and me walked out to the main room and saw everyone was there and had the silly hats and the necklaces that starfire used on blorthog ( tamerainian friendship day ) , it Truly was a beautiful day to celebrate the most amazing true titans birthday .

Starfire's POV

They all look so happy to see me. As soon as I walked through the door they all yelled happy birthday and let off fire works with their powers and all screamed happy birthday right in my face .

All together -

" HAPPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU..... HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR STARRR ......
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOOOOOO YOOOOOUUUUUU !!!!!!!!

" Oh friends it is most joyous to see u all here how wonderful it is to see all of you!!! Thank u for coming to celebrate me.

All together - Your welcome Starfire !!!

They all loved me and we all sat around laughing and telling the stories of all our victories in battle it was a glorious day. We all had the sweet creation of cake and the cream of ice and listened to the sounds of musical discs and truly had a fun day . They all looked so happy. My conversation with robin earlier has had me in the mood of sadness but I faked a smile so no one would pay attention. During the story of all of us defeating the brain I quietly slipped away hoping no one would notice but I guess someone did .. Speedy ...

Speedy's POV

I was in the middle of listening to robin talking about the brain when I was memorized by Starfire . I was staring at her for so long I noticed I got a look from Robin but he played it off cool . When I looked back she was gone I quickly got up and headed out to find Starfire . I saw her around the corner she looked deep in thought I didn't want to bother her but something told me I should .

"Hey Starfire , are you ok you look upset ? "

Starfire 's POV

I can't believe I'm saying this but should I give up on Robin. I have waited forever for him but he can't seem to tell me his feelings for me , if he has any that is . I just need to think of my self I do love him but is it time for me to let him go or should I hold on to a simple love that maybe isn't ...
Speedy has interrupted my thoughts but I don't mind . He is a good friend.

" Yes friend speedy , I am oh so joyous to have all of you here celebrating this glorious day. " I lied but I know it wasn't very convincing .

" Starfire , com'on you can tell me what's wrong I don't mind. And by the way Starfire ..... Your not a very good liar "...... I said very comforting .

" Oh , I know that speedy but I can not tell you. I am afraid it is very personal and hard to speak aloud."

"Starfire u can tell me anything. I won't ever judge You. You can trust me I promise ."

"Friend speedy ,I can not tell u I am sorry it is just too hard ."

Maybe I need to give up on Robin and think only of my self . Maybe there is something with me and speedy? I believe I am done with the waiting .
