~~ Carl's POV ~~
I wave goodbye to my Mom, Lori Grimes, and I walk up the stone steps of my school. I walk into class and I sit down, watching the teacher frantically look for our parents numbers. She turns the TV to the Fox 1 news station.
" There has been an outbreak!! Hide from the mon- AHHH!!!"
A blood-covered human being eats the newsman. My eyes water as I sit there in shock. I hear alarms go off all around the school and those monsters quickly - some limp - walk toward the classroom windows.
" AHHHH!!" I scream in my high-pitched voice as I run to the supply closet with two other kids. I hear my teacher screaming along with other students. All the commotion finally stops and I run outside to find my Mom, standing there and she runs to me and we quickly hop into the car.

I speed down the roads to get to our house so we could grab some supplies.
~~ Time Skip ~~
Me and Carl find this small, stable camp and I find Shane and that's when I get the shock of my life.
