I just got finished unpacking most of my stuff in the apartment. The Lilly girl I'm staying with is super cool, except she's kind of loud. I guess I'm not used to that since I've always been extremely quiet.
The apartment is extremely beautiful, and I'm glad I can stay close to my family. I'd really miss them if I had to move out of California. Luckily, Lilly was willing to move here with me permanently.
Lilly had to become my roommate when I graduated college because our parents apparently met the first day of freshman year, and Lilly's parents were extremely worried about her living on her own. That's how I ended up here.
I'm okay with all of this, though. I should probably get to know Lilly a little bit better. I mean, we are going to be living together for a long time. I'm nervous though. What if she doesn't like me? What if she thinks I'm some crazy, shy person who likes to shut themself off to the world because it's easier?
Okay, that last part was pretty much me, but she can't know that.
Avery, you're 25 years old, you sound like a teenager; always seeking approval of others.
I just really hope the arrangements work out well.
