In the beginning, humans wielding magic was unheard of, and to some, the idea was just unappealing and preposterous. Humans, they thought, do not need silly things. After all, physical work was stronger, presumed by the amount of bodies that laid in their wake by the countless wars that were waged.

The Man thought that his people were being foolish and arrogant.

The Dragon shifted and peered at the human man from his cave with  interest, watching as the man approached him.

"What are you he here for human?"

The Man gazed up at him, and with confidence brimming in his voice he spoke.

"I want to learn your ways."

A booming laughter echoed through the cave.

"A human like you wishes to learn our arts? Why should we teach you?" The Dragon asked.

The Man stared, brown eyes not showing any emotions. "I want to stop this war, and I want to stop those who wish to start war."

The Dragon slithered out of the cave, his wings unfurled and showed off his size, yet the human was not intimidated, he was calmly looking at his counterpart like how the other looked at him, and eyes that betrayed the slightest bit of curiosity.

"I may teach you, but pay heed to this warning: your choices shall impact the future, and it may start wars, or end wars. Humans are easily corrupt with power," The Dragon warned.

"Very well," The Man said.

"Does this not bother you?" The Dragon inquired.

"It does, but your art may also prevent wars, and it's useless to assume the future." The Man responded.

"Not many humans believe that the future could be so easily avoided, don't they?"

"No they don't," The Man replied. "But sometimes, a future can not be so easily avoided."

The Dragon made what looked to be a smile, "So do you take responsibility?"

The Man looked up at him, eyes gleaming with determination, "I do. I will take full responsibility for what my race shall do."

"Very well, I, Macogotoifra, shall bond with you, but what is your name, human?" The Dragon asked.

"My name is Genesis," He said, eyes glowing with energy.
