Nobody’s perfect.
Everyone has flaws.
People say that in order to be beautiful,
you have to have perfect skin,
the perfect body,
the perfect look,
but who decides what perfect is?
As a girl,
you only see your flaws,
but one day you will wake up,
just as I did,
look in the mirror,
and say to yourself,
“I am beautiful.
I will find a guy someday,
and he will say I’m the most beautiful the way I look now,
without make-up,
with my hair in a tangled mess.
He will tell me to never change.”
Someday you will come to realize that because all you see are flaws,
you will never love yourself,
but the day will arrive when you realize you are beautiful,
and wouldn’t change a single thing about yourself.
The day you truly become perfect,
is the day you finally see your inner,
and natural,
beauty.
