Well you really REALLY messed up this time Lillian. I thought as I watch my spell go nuts around the classroom. Books were singing and shelves were croaking. I'm pretty sure my teacher's hat was meowing and everyone was upside down! Yep. I suck at magic.
The teacher has chestnut hair that was neatly tied into a bun that complimented her green eyes which were barely noticeable behind her oval glasses. She marked something on her clipboard and cast a spell, putting everything back to normal. The teacher quickly headed back up to the front of the room and sighed. "Well...that was unexpected. No matter. We'll now move on to the next thing on our list, which would be...ah yes, the students at Mikao Academy will be attending our school for awhile-"
There was a sudden burst of laughter was a boy in the back. He had dark red, spiked hair that went up like a porcupine and wore a black heart around his neck. The boy's cold, hard glare was complimented by his deep, black eyes. "Why would we want those idiots at our school? They're worse than Lillian!"
"Hey!" I yelled back in protest. The boy gave a smirk as he crossed his arms and put his feet on the desk.
"Naruru! The teachers at Mikao Academy just want to see if they are ready for a...more advanced course. I've heard they've improved."
"Well I hear they still stink at spell casting big time. They all have low magic ability, so what would you expect?" Naruru snarked while leaning forwards and giving a thumbs down.
"Mikao...Academy?" I mumbled to myself. However, it was audible enough for the teacher to hear me.
"It's a rehabilitation school for Magilings that have trouble controlling their magic whether or not that be because of a lack of magic-" She look straight at Naruru. "-Or too much magic."
"A person from Mikao academy with too much magic?" Naruru gave a hearty laugh. "That's impossible! You're just making that up!"
"Though it's rare, There has been some cases of very powerful magic users going to Mikao Academy because they had trouble controlling that much magic." The teacher said matter of factly as she began writing down a couple spell incantations. "Anyway, she will be the student joining us today; Aiko. Can you all introduce yourself?"
Two teachers and one student walked through the door. The first teacher was a boy with shoulder length blonde hair that wore a suit and tie. "I'm Lumei."
The student was a girl that had long, cream-colored hair and fox ears and tails that seemed to perk up nervously. She looked a little younger than the others. The student quickly hid behind the second teacher. The second teacher was a girl, and she had Amber hair with a red ribbon wrapped around it.
"My name is Alice and this is Aiko." The amber haired one smiled as Aiko peaked nervously behind. I could see Naruru snickering out the corner of my eye. The teacher threw a chalk at his forehead and let them sit at a round table in the back.
"And now we shall continue class. Please open your text books up to page 177."
Class began as normal; well except for the fact that Aiko was at the back of the classroom, taking notes of whatever the teacher says. She seemed to be "a little" nervous. I wasn't surprised, but wasn't she a little too nervous?
"Okay class. We'll now try this spell here." The teacher scribbled down the magic incantation. "It's a spell for levitation. It might be helpful to you later in life. Aiko, why don't you try it?"
Everyone began to look the way of the nervous Fox spirit. As if in a panic, the items around her (books, pencils, chairs, students) began to float off the ground and launch up to the front causing some discord. She looked at the window, transformed into her Fox form, and ran away through her unusual escape route.
"Ah, Aiko!" Alice called out as she followed Aiko out the window. Lumei went up to the teacher to apologize.
"I'm very sorry! She's really bad with people! I should've been more careful." Lumei said, apologizing over and over again. Looking out the window, you could see Alice chasing a cream colored fox who had now climbed up a tree. Aiko's ears were folded as she used Alice's head to escape. Jumping off of Alice's amber colored hair, Aiko began to ran out of the school.
"D-Does this happen often?"
"Yes...we were hoping this would give her the opportunity to open up to people, but I think that plan back-fired in our face..." Lumei sighed as he helped one of the students up. "Once a again, I'm very sorry for the trouble we caused. We'll get her back by lunch."
You could hear Alice yelling in the background."Aiko! Don't use that fire spell- Aiko!"
"Hopefully." Lumei sighed.
I have a feeling today's going to be another long day. I sighed as I laid my head on my desk.
