Prolouge

To the city I am known as Sylvr, 2nd daughter of the Brigginshaw Kindred. Brigginshaw is one of the seven royal families, throughout the nation. My mother, queen regent Virginia Brigginshaw is ruler of Terrasturm City. My elder sister Stone, 1st daughter of the Brigginshaw kindred; is next in line as ruler. I, unlike my sister chose to join a task force formed by my second mother General Addy Bramhall, implemented to eradicate all threats to the city. To my squadron I am known as Cadet Bramhall. No one besides General Bramhall knows of my royal status. It would be problematic otherwise, so my true identity remains a secret.

The nation is broken up into classes. The Royals, Dusts, and Rouges. It is forbidden to associate with anyone outside of your class. This law was created to maintain balance and peace throughout the nation. The Royals are the highest, and wealthiest in the nation. Noble - born. The Dusts are second class citizens known for their use of the mystical element called 'dust'. Only people with a certain blood type can manipulate dust. It is harvested from a rare plant and used to operate machinery and weaponry. The third class is the Rouges. They are the outsiders or rebels of the city. Rouges are banned from the cities and reside in the forests.

Two hundred years before my birth, the 'End of Days' occurred and wiped out most of the world. Over the course of time, the earth began to change and a new species was formed. Carnivore - like creatures in the form of reptiles, with human bodies. These abominations are known as The 'Delvouri.' It is said that if you are to be killed by a Delvouri, you will become one. They are now mankind's greatest threat.

After the 'End of Days', the world was thrown into chaos.
My great grandmother formed a council called the 'Lotus Seven', meant to restore order to the world. The council was made up of one female from each of the seven royal families. My aunt Lucille Brigginshaw, was elected into the council five years ago. Aside from the queen regent, the Lotus Seven has the most power.
