The internet càfe I'm sitting in is groggy and old. The muddy brown paint is peeling of the wall. It stinks of black coffe, and there are stains everywhere. The attmosphrere is wierd ,disturbing, and ugly. The only thing good about this place is their lattes and the fact that they have wi-fi.

I brought my laptop, like any reasonable person would do. But not my phone, they would be able call me or track me or whatever. I'm pretty sure when I turned 17 my mama put a tracking device on my phone. I know what you're going to say now
"WHAT ABOUT YOUR E-MAIL, HUH?" Or something along the lines of that. But just so you know, I obviously diacticvated it and made a new one. Duh.

I stay content on my work.

I close off my laptop and slip it in my bag. Before I leave I say goodbye to the owner/counter man of this place and ask for directions to a shop that can print something for me. He's actually pretty nice and tells me directions down to the end of the street and to the left there's a 'nifty' place that can help me.

I arrive at the place. It seems like a news agency. I go up to the counter and ask a young girl about my age about the printer. She has long dirty blonde hair,up in a bun. Crystaline, oceany blue eyes, and fair skin dotted with freckles.

"How can I help you?" She asks in a thick british accent. "Do you want some lotto' tickets, if you are eight-teen of course. Or would you just like some magazines?"

"Um, neither ,thank you." I say, "I would just like to ask if I could use a printer. I asked the internet cafe guy and he sent me over here."

"Oh yeah, sure!" She replies, swiping a loose strand out of her face. "Just follow me."

She leads me to behind the counter and to a photo copier with a printer next to it. "Um just one thing I'm really sorry about by the way." She says abruptlty. "I kind of have to stay here. I don't know but my boss kind of doesn't like to leave customers alone with the stuff." She does motions with her hands and starts to bob around. "It's nothing against you, but I would probally get in biiiiggg trouble." She whispers in my ear.

"Uh, no problem. Thanks for letting me use the printer by the way." I reply.

Once I've finished me and the girl walk back to the counter.

"I hope you do't mind if I charge you 50 cents but my boss would kill me if she found out and I didn't charge you something."

I hand her the money and while we excange she takes a glance at the paper. "Oh my gosh, I am so sorry to butt into your busniuss and everything but I just happened to see your papers and I saw that you're looking for a room-mate and everything and I'm actually looking for a flat-mate right now to and I was just wondering if I could talk to you about it or....!" She bursts out. I let out a little laugh and say sure and tell her that it's actually great to have a offer this early. The girl finally breathes.

" I'm Emma by the way!" She exclaims

"Reyna. We should probally arrange a place to meet up just for seeing eachother, I , uh, lost my phone and can't contact you. Is tomorrow good for you? Also if you know any good places around here that we would meet up at, it would be great!" I reply.

"Sure! There's this cool coffe shop across the corner. Now, not to be nosy or anything, but were are you staying at right now? Just in case we can't see or contact eachother. I live in a little suburb around here with my parents."

"Um, I'm just staying in a crappy notel a few miles frim here right now. Just because I came here two days ago..." I lied and let out a forced laugh.

"Oh really! Never heard of it! You know you can stay at my parents motel. I'll tell them all about the 'flat' thing. They'll be happy to give you a room at a low price for 'striking' the apartment thing. They want me to learn independence and ge out the house. Plus it will be easier for us to meet and communicate. My shift ends in an hour, I'll pick you up at the internet cafe where you got sent here ."

"Wow really. Oh my gosh, thanks." She grinns at the comment. I write down e-mail on a napkin I got from the internet cafe and a pen Emma lent me.

"Bye!" She waves. "I'll see you then!

I wave back and give her a smile.

A grinn escapes my face as I relise how good my plan is falling into place.
