That awkward feeling

Oh man! That awkward feeling
Here we go not so appealing

The truth we seek and find for meaning
We often wonder whose concealing
I thread the line I dance pretending
As if I have the answers in me
Fully aware that I'm a gimmick
But they don't know  I'm not revealing
The stance I took, Confused them all
The looks they give consumes it all
They have No clue, No idea
They just eat the false information No fear at all..... they thirst, they starve
Just cos am friendly and in their presence
Does not mean am incoherent
Lashing out like an old parent

Oh man! That awkward feeling
Here we go not so appealing

I wonder what they are concealing
I wish they reach out
Give me new meaning
Instead they nod  and hide their feelings
Oh what a shame I read their faces
They really think am not aware
They think I am clueless
That awful stare.
Until I speak utter my reasons
And leave them shocked
Hiding their faces
They all retreat
Back to their shells
They hide and seek
For they are wrong
And realized that they encountered
That awkward feeling.

Oh man! That awkward feeling
Here we go not so appealing

Relationship broken beyond repair No one can really fix this here
Am really torn because I care
The facts  are there for all to see
Instead I witness gloomy stares
To stand up to oppression is rare
The inside jokes you can't compare
My vision is weak but not impaired
My soul is fit and filled with prayer
My heart still beats and am not scared
Though I walk through the valley of death
I fear no evil
But the energy.......
The wicked gallantry some pass around leisurely
Preying on the elderly
Helplessly
Those in poverty
With no property
Anarchy

Oh man what an awkward feeling
An awkward feeling indeed!!!©
