Forming A Plan

Karasu's POV

The fire escape rattled as I made my way down its rusted metal stairs, stopping on the fifth floor at my window. I lived alone in a one bedroom apartment in the west side of Konoha. Otherwise known as the most crime riddled area in the entire nation. I didn't mind it much though because of that fact specifically. I am a gang hunter after all; if I didn't know how to take care of myself then I'd have been dead a long time ago. Living around here has taught me to never trust anyone and to always have my guard up. Slipping through my living room window with ease I walked through the empty apartment hall towards my room. It was a small room, mostly black and white with accents of red scattered about the room. Clothes laid about the room haphazardly, shoes here, jackets there, the occasional bra hung from my bedpost. The rest of my apartment was so clean and spotless you could eat off the floor, but my bedroom was the one place I could truly relax. I didn't have to worry about some ass-wagon coming along and trying to take my head off all the time, which was nice.

I sighed and strode across the room dodging the various items trying to trip me and fell on my soft bed. Yanking my hood and mask off so my hair sprawled out around me. Pulling out the folded paper I got from my target I held it out to look at it. The scribbles on it could hardly be called words but I was able to make out 'thirty eight Camilla street, two months from now at midnight, same building.' I ran through the map in my head, Camilla Street is right off the docking district which would make the 'building' be actually a warehouse. There are many abandoned warehouses in that area so I'll have to figure out which one at a later date. For now though I had two months of waiting and planning. 'That was more than enough time though; maybe I should begin doing research on my next targets.' While the Hidden Sound is a powerful gang, they like to move between nations frequently making them hard to track, there is another gang that has been quickly rising in rank here in Konoha. They are ruthless and rose to power as one of the strongest gangs just below my father. Number two on my list is a group known as the Akatsuki. Only problem was that I knew nothing about where in Konoha they are or anything about them yet. That's when an idea popped into my head. It's time to go see my informant.

I swung myself off my bed and looked to my digital clock. It was two in the morning. 'Yeah he should still be awake.' I thought to myself as I grabbed my mask and tossed my hood over my head shielding my identity. I checked my chest to make sure it was tied tight, it helped keep my identity a secret, if people thought I was a guy while I was out as the Crow it would leave no evidence that I as a girl am crow. Quickly I headed to my living room window and hopped onto the fire escape. He didn't live too far away but the rooftops would take too long, he lived more toward the center of Konoha near the high school there. I thought about my options and decided to take the Nightcrawler, a fast and nimble motorcycle. I kept the little monster in the ally hidden behind some large wooden pallets and a tarp. When I got down to it and exposed it's black sleek exterior to the night I swiftly mounted it and turned the key. The engine roared to life and purred happily. I equipped a black helmet and took off into the night. The freedom unlike anything else.

It took me roughly thirty minutes to arrive a few buildings away from his apartment building. Tucking my ride into a tight ally and removing my helmet I climbed the nearest fire escape to the roof. He lived on the top floor and his balcony was across from the building I was currently standing on. I could see a faint glow of a computer monitor through the open sliding glass door to the balcony, he was definitely awake. I took a running start from the far side of the roof and leaped off with no hesitation landing firmly on the concrete platform with little trouble. I could see his form silhouetted by three side by side monitors with complex codes typed on each one. His fingers that swiftly glided over the keys began to slow to a stop as I entered through the door. He sat back in his chair and spun a little to the right to glance over at me.
