You walked into the little book store you love to visit. You saw the owner and gave a small wave and a smile. She smiled and waved back. She looked back to the stack of books she was putting up, and hummed lightly. You went over to the fiction area, and started gathering books you read the first chapter of, and liked. You picked up a book on types of werewolves, and saw a little book by it. You raised an eyebrow, and gently pulled it out and looked at it.

'The Labyrinth'

You opened it, and began reading it. You were never one to judge a book by its cover, and always gave them a chance. Same goes for people. You smile as you start, and stand still as a statue, unless you're turning the page.

*Time Skip of Bullshit*

You close the book, a bright smile on your face as you hug it to your chest tightly. You already love this book. You keep the book pressed to your chest with one hand, and start putting the other books you picked back into their proper places. You walked to the counter and set the book down. The owner, Gladus, she looked at the book, and got this look in her eye. She turned away and started to walk off.

"You can have it for free." She said and got to the back room, and closed the door. You tilted your head slightly and picked up the book. You walked out of the shop, and opened the book to the second chapter. You began reading on your way home, and smiled at each passing word. How could you not? The story is so well written, and amazing. You just fall in love with it. You bumped into someone, and made sure the book was not damaged in anyway.

"I'm sorry. I should stop reading while I'm walking." You said softly, after seeing the book was still as it was before.

"It's quite alright." You looked up to see a man. A good looking man, and way out of your liege. "I know what it's like to get lost in a good book or two." He said, with a smile. You smiled back and blushed.

"Still, I'm really sorry." You said closing the book, but not before finishing the sentence you were on. You smiled up at him again, and looked at the little watch on the front of your wrist. "Oh dear! I'm late! I'm so very late!" You began to panic. You went around the man, and began to run. You looked over your shoulder at him. "Nice talking to you but I gotta run!" You yelled to him, and looked forward and ran home. Hopefully 'mother' will be kind today.
