Rose shakes her matted mud covered coat, the three young wolves have been running for two weeks, along with fighting for food and survival. It has been six hours since the trio have encountered a lone wolf. The trio look at each other confused, Rose links the two boys "What's going on Ash?" She asks in their mind link. Rose slows down to a walk flanking Ash on the left while Dog flanks Ash on the right.
Ash looks around "I have no clue Rose." He links her. Dog huffs and growls make the three wolves huddle together, the young wolves pull back their muzzles into a snarl and their, ears flat on their head. They slowly back up into a triangle, Rose and Dog stop snarling and a look of confusion passes through their eyes. The growls in the surrounding shadows stop as well, Dog and Rose shift their gaze from the tree line to Ash. Ash stands tall with his head up high, tail straight in the air and his muzzle is pulled back in a deadly snarl.
Rose and Dog are forced to submit to him and they whimper, Ash's eyes flash back from the black of his wolfs to his deep blue eyes. He shifts back into his human form clothed, Ash then shifts his weight before talking in a deep powerful commanding voice "come forward and shift!". A group of thirty wolves ranging from all sizes and colors walk out of the shadows with their heads down, they all slowly shift back. Rose and Dog sit and study the wolves now standing before them, two wolves caught Roses attention one tall male along with a short but fit she-wolf.
Rose nuzzles Ash's leg and points her head to the thirty wolves "why don't we start a pack? In stead of being just us three?" She asks in the link while tilting her head in question. Dog soon enters the link "I don't know about you guys but I'm tired of being with out a pack." Rose nods her head in agreement.
Ash looked at his two pals and rubbed Roses mud covered gray head, "I understand guys, but no promises that it will work.". The other wolves shift from foot to foot and Ash holds his head up high showing his rank as alpha, all of the wolves look at him in fear "I have a proposal for all of you." Ash spoke with power and confidence. "You can join us in making a pack or run away and be rouges for the rest of your lives." He stated bluntly. All of the rouges looked at each other and muttered among themselves, then the male that caught Roses attention stepped forward "we accept you proposal alpha.". They all lower their head in submission, a wolf version of a smile slips onto Dog and Roses face. Ash smiles lightly "well I welcome all of you too the Ravens wood pack." Rose lifted her head and howled, new connections so where made and thirty new happy voices entered her mind link. So everyone shifts back into their wolf forms and a tattoo appeared on every wolfs shoulder, it was a half moon that represents their pack.
Ash's calming voice comes over the other thirty wolves in the link "Rose and Dog we have been joined at the hip since we were little pups." Dog snorts "don't get sappy on us now Ash." While Rose just gives out a wolf chuckle. Ash playfully shoves Dog "oh shut up, I was saying will you guys do me the honor being my beta and Gemma?". The group of wolves go silent looking at Dog and Rose waiting for their answers "of course we will Ash." Rose replied in a calm voice.
A feeing of power washes over Rose as her wolf grows to the height of a full grown horse, and Dog stays the same height. Ash and Dog tower over her by a few inches. While all the others are half a inch smaller then Rose. She through her head back and howled, the power of a beta washes over her and everyone joins Rose in the howl. Soon Ash launches himself into a run and all the wolves follow, their coats somewhat shinny in the moons light.
