Its dark.

Well duh. My eyes are closed and I'm sleeping. Ha I'm so boring and funny.

As I opened my eyes, I was met with a field of green blowing grass and a few white daisies here and there. I saw a few trees as well but they were too far into the horizon to have color. They were almost like a silhouette.

"I'm happy for you guys," a slightly high-pitched voice, mumbled from behind me. I knew that voice from somewhere.

I turned around as I noticed a bright white light glow. There she stood, looking at me, with her head lowered a bit, since she was floating, and a sad smile gently carressing her pale face.

She looked more mature and obviously older. Her hair was down and the spiral curls fell past her shoulders. She wore all white with a few lace bows here and there. What seemed like a portal of light, shined(?) behind her, giving her an angelic appearance.

Tears stung my eyes, "Lizzie?"

"I've finally reached my greatest goal," she began, looking away from me. "Now that i'm gone, Ciel can be happy... with you."

I felt as if a heavy weight was placed on my heart. It hurt to hear her say that.

"Lizzie. I'm sor-" i was interrupted.

"Now that I know he and you are demons, you guys can live happily ever after," her eyes slowly became watery with tears. She looked pained but the smile never left her face. "Something that I've wanted to live with him."

She looked at me again, the smile grew a little, "just know that I'll always be here. I may not be able to interract with you in person, but in your dreams I can." She started to fade bit by bit.

I started to run toward her, wrapping my arms around her waist. "No you can't leave," tears began to flow down my cheeks. "If you leave, I'll kil-"

"How can you kill someone who's already dead?" She asked, emotionless.

That made me let go of the girl. I stared at her with tearful eyes. Her gentle smile returned.

The light began to dim. "You can now do whatever you like with him. You are his and he is yours."

"I love you," she said and kissed my forehead.

The last thing I saw was a glistening tear run down her face, before she disappeared completely.

I stared tearfully at the spot she was once floating in. The pain in my chest grew enough for me to fall down to the floor, clutching my nightgown.

Tears ran down my cheeks and I screamed in agony. The pain was too much. It made my vision fade into black again.

...

A yelped as I fell off the side of my bed. I sat up and rubbed my throbbing head. (Not like that you dirty minders)

I groaned (stop it) and took a deep breath, removing the covers from my body. I looked at the dark wooden nightstand that was now in front of me. Last night I left the desk clear, well except the burnt out candle sticks.

My eyes widened as I noticed a small promise ring. It adorned a small sapphire diamond and an intricate sterling silver band covered in smaller white diamonds. It was adorable and it reminded me of Ciel's blue eye. As that thought came into my head, Lizzie popped in as well. It was Lizzie's promise ring from the party of when she... Died.
