Chapter1: targeted

Lance was in the science lab together with elder sister. At that same moment Lance felt the presence of someone... or something.

"Someone is here." Lance told her. But she was too busy mixing chemicals. "Alice!"
"Oh. Sorry, i just discovered wolf blood! This can turn anyone to become a wolf! Imagine that Lance. Being a wolf, we'd save a lot of lives, cause it's like having too lives in one! " Alice said holding his shoulder. "Besides. We could save mum from her cancer."

"Alice. It might not work-"
"Don't Say that Lance! Never say that!"
"Sorry"

Just then the sound of someone whistling appeared in the corridor.
"Who's that?" Alice asked as fear built up in her.
"I told you someone was here."
Lance said facing the door that was ajar.
"Hold on. Let me go check." Alice said then went for the door. She peaked into the corridor.

"No one's here-Aaaaaah!" She screamed as she as taken into the corridor. Lance rushed into the corridor. His sister was being held by pale skinned teenaged boy. Around Lance's age.18.

Alice had blood flowing from her neck to the floor. But she was still alive, breathing heavily.
"Lance... i...i... love you. Now run!" She managed to speak.
"But... sis..." Lance hesitated.
"I said go!"

The pale skinned boy dropped Alice's body to the floor and stepped over her neck. She instantly died.
"Oops" the boy said then smiled revealing his vampire teeth.
"Oh no..." Lance said then he turned and ran towards the exit.
The guy ran after him and he was unnaturally fast.
Lance managed to dodge one of his grabs. Lance then reached a small cliff. He tripped and fell into the steep side of the cliff. He was rolling hitting stones and branches along the way.

He finally reached the actual ground and a line of blood from his mouth drew onto his chick.
He managed to get up on his elbows and rubbed off the blood on the edge of his mouth.

He turned over to face the atmosphere. He was heavily breathing from the run.

He looked up and saw the boy at his feet. Just as he was about to run the boy grabbed him by the neck and raised him off the ground.

"You won't be able to save her now. She's as dead as you're going to be" the boy whispered into his ear.
"Who are you?" Lance asked.
"Forgotten me already? Your big bro?"
"You can't be. He died along time ago."
"That's what you all thought. Each and every day, i was still breathing in that burning house. Slowly dying and nobody cared!"
"we did, we thought it was over. We still-"
"still what? Cared? They all forgot about me. Just because they had you. Now since i was raised by vampires i became one. And i made a promise. "
"And what's that?"
"Revenge!"

When he was about to bite off Lance's neck a werewolf appeared right from the misty woods and continuously kept biting the vampire's skin off on the legs.

The vampire reached out and grabbed it's mouth. With power. Tearing it apart then biting off the trachea. He threw the body to the ground. He stared up at Lance with blood thirsty eyes and range.
"You're next" He smiled evilly as blood ran down his jaw to the drying grass that grew underneath them.

Then it came again, that feeling of another organisms presence. Lance recognized it as a strong feeling he'd ever felt before.

Then with no hesitation Lance quickly took out a test tube containing the chemical of wolf blood in it and drank it. Out of the woods came out a wolf and it grab hold of the vampire's neck. This action of fighting continued. Lance got up and made a run for it deeper into the woods.

Along they he bumped into a man.
"Ho, there laddy where the rush?" The man asked as he held Lance. He must be in the sixties. Lance thought .

Before Lance would day anything a girl popped out of the woods. She had long, dark hair tied to a ponytail.
"Dad, Ben's dead, Maggie is in trouble" she said as she was panting heavily.
"What! My son... call the rest of the pack. You'll find me" he said as his pupil went long and narrow. "Plus, get this boy to safety. We'll deal with him later."
"Sure papa" she said and the father ran off transforming into a wolf as he ran.

The girl quickly glanced at Lance.
"What's on your mouth?" she asked as she spotted a glowing red substance at the edge of his lip. Before he could tempt to rub it off and say 'nothing'. The girl grabbed his head and turned it to a 30° angle from his shoulder and smelt the substance.

She pushed him away and her eyes were red.
"Wolf blood... where did you get this?" she asked calmly.
"My sister invented it before she was killed." Lance said as he looked down.
"why?"
"why what?"
"why drink it?"
"i was in danger. He'd have killed me if it wasn't for your bro and sister. So i drank it thinking that i'd transform instantly. "
"No test drive?"
"No"

She sighed and turned to face the woods "follow me."
