I Like You, Is That A Problem?(COMPLETED)

Sad times that had to happen..

Peridot's POV

So it's been 3 weeks since Lapis left and everytime I think of her, I just kept wishing she was still here...

Though we still kept in touch through messages, I still miss her...

There's only a week before classes start and I really hope that Lapis will be in my section.

I'm at my living room, slouching since there's nothing fun to do.
I decided to message Lapis...

Hey, you there? I said.
Do you wanna meet or something? I said.
It's okay if not, I just have nothing to do. I said.

I waited for her reply, until I got bored and decided to watch television.

Nothing was on but terrible shows...
I was about to take a nap when I felt my phone vibrate.

Sure! Where'd ya wanna go? Lapis replied.

I thought for a moment...

Idk, where do you wanna go? I copied her question.

I waited for a minute till my phone vibrated again...

How about the park? I'll meet you there! :) She replied.
Alright then! I'll be there in ten mins. I said before running into my bedroom looking for clothes.

After I changed, my phone vibrated again.

Okay! I'll be a little late though, you okay with that? She said.
Kay, on my way. I replied then shoved my phone into my hoodie's pocket.
I also got my headphones and put it around my neck. Just incase I get bored.

I locked the house and jogged to the park.
It's a five minute jog so I decided to not take my car.

I arrived five minutes later and noticed that Lapis still isn't here.

So I found a bench and listened to some tunes while waiting.

I was enjoying my music when suddenly someone leaped at me and hugged me, causing me to fall from the bench.

"I missed you so much!" A voice said, almost sounding like-

Lapis!

I glanced behind of me and found Lapis cuddling my back.

I blushed from the scene but soon got up before somebody sees us.

I sat upright and hugged her.

"I missed you too..." I said.

I was going to release from the hug when she suddenly cried on my shoulder.

"What's wrong?" I said patting her back.

She just cried louder and began to squeeze me.

"N-nothing! I-I just m-missed you so much!" She said not letting go of me.

"Hey, it's okay. I'm here now." I said, continuing to pat her back.

She calmed down a few mintes and finally let go of me.

We then talked about everything since she left, there are good times, but most of them were sad.

It was time for Lapis to go home and since it was already night time, I decided to take her home.

We jogged to my house to take the car keys and drive her home.

We entered my house and let her stay at the living room while I get the keys at my bedroom.

When I got to the living room, I found Lapis sleeping on the couch.

Hmmm, guess she's staying for the evening.

I then messaged her mom.

"Hi Miss Lazuli, this is Peridot. Your daughter kinda fell asleep when she visited here, and it's really cruel of me if I wake her up, So may I ask your permission for her to stay here? Just for tonight." I messaged.

I waited for a reply when my phone vibrated.

"Is that so? Alright then. It is getting late and it's too much for me to ask you to drive her home for me." She replied.

"Don't worry Miss Lazuli! I'll make sure she's safe. :)" I replied.

I was about to carry Lapis to the bedroom when my phone vibrated again.

"What did I tell you about calling me Miss Lazuli?" She said.

Oops.

"Oh! Um sorry, Mom." I said.

My phone vibrated again.

"Good. Well, Goodnight! Lapis can stay there till tomorrow afternoon if you two would like. I'll be gone tomorrow morning so I thought Lapis would want some fun." She said.

I was enlightened by her message knowing that I could bond with Lapis longer.

"Thank you very much! I'll get her home tomorrow before night time. Goodnight." I said, putting my phone on the coffee table.

I carried Lapis to my bedroom and placed her on the bed.
I laid down next to her and I was about to sleep when I felt her cuddle me.
I didn't mind her and fell asleep.
