And with that he pulled the phone away from his ear for the girl was probably screaming her lungs out , the 3 teens trying to contain laughter when the call ends "I lost her guys" He sighed "Miles, you lost her 281 times..."Demi states"Yeah,C'mon let's go around the city. There's a car waiting for us outside isn't there?"Luke asks "Yeah"Demi nods "Let's use it then" Melanie laughs pulling Miles along.

"Hello?...yeah hey Cordin....yeah any suggestions on where to go?" Luke asks "Oh yeah...yeah...thanks" He smiles ending the call. "Pines Mall is a really big spot here apparently" He says starting the car "Good cause I desperately need new clothes"Melanie whines "Don't we all"Demi agrees.

"Uh I'm going to Starbucks" Demi excuses "K,we'll be over at Urban Outfitters if you need us"Melanie smiles "We?"Miles asks shocked "We're going with Demi"Luke scoffs "Guys..""No no it's better. Plus pets aren't allowed"Melanie jokes making Demi laugh and the boys frown.
"Hi,I'm Kayti. What can I get for you today?"Asks the pretty lady working in the counter "Hi Kayti, I'm Demi. Can I have 2 cappuccinos please, a vanilla iced coffee and a Caramel Macchiato"She smile "What size?" Asks the lady grabbing 4 cups "Grande for all"Demi says. As the customers doubles and Kayti was the only worker Demi came in and started helping "Hi I'm Demi, what can I get ya?"She smiles turning and seeing the brunette mouth 'thanks' and mouth led 'no problem' back.

"Well, my shift's over" Kayti says as she sees another worker enter "Thanks for helping." She smiled "No problem" Demi says back "Hey wanna hang out sometime?" Kayti smiles "Totally, I just moved and I could really use a friend. Can I have your number?" Demi asks "Sure" Kayti smiles writing it down on her cup "Hey Demi we're back and- oh...hi" Luke says as he saw Kayti "hi" she giggled "I'm Luke" He says politely "I'm Kayti""Oh...Who's this?"Melanie asks coming in "This is Kayti" Demi introduced "Hi Kayti, I'm Melanie and this is Miles" Melanie smiles as the brown haired boy stood speechless "Nice meeting you" She says biting her lip "Oh uh...nice seeing you..I uh..mean..yeah what you said" Miles stuttered scratching the back of his neck making Kayti giggle "Well, Kayti we gotta go text you later" Demi says waving her goodbye "Totally. Bye guys!"She smiles. "Does wittle Miles have a cwush?" Melanie teases "Mel, stop" Luke scolds "Wait...Luke...you like her too don't you?" Demi realizes and starts laughing "WORLD WAR III SHALL BEGIN!"Melanie joked.

When Demi became such quick friends with Kayti she realizes the people here in New York seem to be her 'type' and maybe fitting in won't be so bad.
