Prologue
The tattered room filled with a melancholy, sickly atmosphere. Piles upon piles of letters lay patiently like a dog waiting for its owner. But that day would never come.
"Amelia!! Can you come here please?" Cried my mother in agony. I hated to see her like this, curled up and bed ridden, but it was all I had ever known.
I took a deep breath as if it was my last and ventured through to her room.
On the floor she lay. My mothers arms bruised with the copious falls she had encountered over several weeks of ups and downs. My eyes beamed as tears filled them, why did this happen to me??
