The High Life, 6 Years later

Chapter 7

Connor POV

Having Rhianne and the children with us earlier than what I expected made it so much better and gave me the boost I need to get through the show and enjoy it. I enjoy all the shows but Rhianne being at a show was what life was about. I couldn't remember the last time when Rhianne hadn't been on a whole tour with us. Not having her there just feels strange and not right. But she was here and that was it for 6 whole weeks. 6 whole weeks of having Rhianne and the children around. Charlotte was joining us as well which was exciting I couldn't wait for that.

The show was amazing that night and what made it better was James took Jessie and Grace and Brad and Sid took Lilly and Casper for the night so that me and Rhianne could have the night to ourselves.

"Bath?" I said when I closed the door to our hotel room after the kids had gone

"Yes please." Rhi said I went to run the bath.

"Gunna stand there all night?" I said seeing Rhi stood at the bathroom door.

"I might do." She said

I laughed.

She got undressed and got in the bath with me, she sat between my leg it was really uncomfortable but I really didn't care I had my wife back in my arms.

"2 weeks apart it feels more like 2 months." I said wrapping my arms around Rhianne

"Yeah I know the feeling." Rhianne said resting her head on my chest.

"Stay for the rest of the tour?" I said

"You know I can't." Rhi said

"Not fair." I said

"I know." Rhi said

"But you have me and the children for 6 whole weeks you'll be glad when we go home." Rhi said smiling

"No I won't. I've been looking forward to having you all here since the start of the tour." I said kissing Rhianne on the top of the head.

"Your mad." Rhi said

"Yep." I smiled

We enjoyed a lovely bath together the first in about 4 months.

I got out first then Rhi got out.

I wasn't hoping for anything I knew Rhianne would just want to sleep.

"Night babe." I said wrapping my arms round her she only had a t shirt on which meant that we could spoon and without it being sexual or it leading to anything I could put my hands between her legs. She was always so warm and I was always so cold.

"Goodnight babe." Rhi said she turned to kiss me

We fell asleep.

Next morning my alarm woke us both up not the children which was weird.

We were able to get dressed and get ready without having to worry about the kids.

When we were ready we went to make sure the the kids weren't driving James and Jodie and Brad and Sid round the bend.

"Morning guys." I said knocking on Brad and Sid's bedroom door. Rhi has gone to get Jessie and Grace

"Morning dad." Lilly said

"Morning dad." Casper said

"Come on let's go get some breakfast." I said

"Okay dad." They said

We went to get something to eat.

When we'd all finished I took the kids over to see my parents.
