Who do i choose?

It was a warm summer's day. My friends and I were stifling in our apartments so we met up at the station. Not everyone turned up, fine ok. Never mind. But the ones that did turn up just had to be the best and worst people to hang out with. Especially if you like some of them and some of them like you back. This type of awkwardness can drive even the most tolerable of people insane.

Anyway, so we got on a train to the beach, backpacks stuffed with, well, stuff. Once we arrived at the station, we wanted lunch. So we dug around in our bags for some money and bought chips. We are at the beach. We deserve chips. Then we headed in the direction of sand. It didn't take long to walk to the beach, in fact, the walk from the chip shop to the beach was about 2 minutes.

We dug around in our bags (again) to find our beach towels and put them on the sand.
"Who wants to go for a swim?" Someone calls. PJ.

Now would be a good time to say who did manage to come. I've got to say. One didn't turn up because he's suffering from jet lag. Oh yeah, and another didn't come because she said she was busy. So here, sitting on our towels, debating weather to go for a swim are:
Dan
Phil
PJ
Carrie
And Me.
Carrie and I have been friends forever, PJ lives just across the hall in his and Chris' apartment so we're friends, Dan and Phil are friends with my friends, so we became friends. Honestly! How many times can you say friends in a paragraph?

We decided to paddle, then if it was warm enough, then we'd go for a swim. Sounds simple right?
We all raced down to the water. The water was cold, but warm for England if you know what I mean.

After a water fight and some swimming, we got cold so raced to the towels. Phil hated the sand sticking to his feet so PJ and Dan queens chaired him to his towel. We all think he couldn't be bothered to walk. After wrapping up in our towels, the heavens opened and a downpour started. Back under our towels trying to shelter. Nobody, even with stuffed bags, had any form of shelter so we huddled together using our towels for leaky shelter. After the downpour, we trudged over to the toilets.
"Guys?" I asked.
"Yeah?" Everyone said and turned round at the same time.
"Why didn't we hide here from the rain?"
"Um.." Carrie bit her lip.
"I blame Phil." Dan joked
"I blame Dan." Phil scowled
"I blame Jen." PJ pointed
"I blame PJ." I poked my tongue out.
"I blame all four of you." Carrie shrugged.
"At least you guys don't have hobbit hair." Dan moaned. We were all joking.

Everyone but Dan and I didn't need the toilet. We sat down on a rock waiting for the others. That was one of the most awkward moments ever. I knew Dan wanted to say something.
"Um Jen?" He smiled.
"Yeah Dan?" Ugh that was so awkward.
"I like you." He blushed.
"I like you too." I bit my lip.
"Do you wanna go out with me?" He asked with a bit of stuttering and a lot of blushing.
Before I could answer, Carrie bursted out. THANK YOU CARRIE!! I think. Dan buried his face in his hands trying to hide his blushes face.
"Hey Carrie," he mumbled.

Later on that day, everyone went out into town to buy each other a present. It was suggested on Twitter when Dan tweeted asking for fun stuff to do. There was a £10 rule, the gift had to cost £10 maximum. I went off in the old gift shop, looking for something for Carrie. My name was drawn by her. I was looking into a window of an accessories shop, where I saw a cute hairband that I know Carrie would love. A reflection came behind me. It was PJ.
"Hi Jen." He said.
"Hey Peej." I smiled.
"I um.. Want to tell you something." He blushes.
Here we go again. I can't do this.
"Um. I really like you." His face colour deepened.
"PJ, I like you too." My cheeks turned red.
"Do you wanna go out with me?" He asked, like Dan, a lot of blushing and stammering was involved. Also like last time, someone saved me from choosing between the two guys I love most. An old woman. My respecting for my elders paid off.
Whilst PJ was telling the old woman what he was doing leaning against her shop window, I mouthed thank you and she gave me a knowing smile before she 'told' me to scram.

We met up back in the town square to exchange gifts.
It would take too long to tell you everything everyone got. I'll just tell you what I gave and received.
I gave Carrie a quill and parchment set because she loves writing.
PJ bought me a turquoise dolphin necklace and a cute bracelet.

I suppose PJ knows I love the gemstone turquoise, I think the jewellery is hinting that if I go out with him, there will be a lot more. I don't want that. I want to love him for who he is, not the gifts he buys me.
I could see Dan wasn't happy that PJ drew my name. He was really jealous.

Everything aside, the question is who do I choose?
